That doesn't make a marksman. That makes a long range damage-dealer. Marksmen are AD-focused ranged champions, like Quinn, Ashe, Tristana, Kindred and Jinx.

Important part that they deal constant sustain damage. They output ADC's amount of damage from extremely high range. Its true for Azir, and a bit exaggerated for Zyra.

Oh so you are complaining of term used instead of the issue? Fine then. But they are far worse than marksmen. I compared them to marksmen, because Azir has those soldiers, which deal damage with each Azir's auto. Zyra has her plants, which she can activate too easy after mage update. Attack speed of plants was buffed, so their damage output is just stupid.

oh. my. fucking. god. Just because they do marksman levels of damage does not make them a marksman.

it makes them an OP mage. Even still you shouldn't have issues with either. Both are balanced in dynamic queue.

Is Xerath a "marksman" too? Two of these guys are even themed to be long-ranged snipers. WHat's your logic here? A long ranged damage dealer is NOT a Marksman just because they do damage at long range.

Xerath is burst oriented mage. He is much different from Azir. Azir can output more sustained damage than any marksman from higher range than any marksman while slowing enemies. And i believe range is the biggest problem for at least first 3 champions. Maybe i shouldn't have included Zyra here, but mage update made her attack speed of her plants absurdly high, and activating them is much easier, so constant damage plants output is too damn high.
