Not only did they completely remove the hp regen you'd get from dead minions and made it into a much less passive support item, they now made it so all you get is a janna passive. lovely? what a fun support item! Seriously doe either give the mana coins some hp to make it a better item or change the quest to SOMETHING. a soraka taking spellthiefs over coin is silly imo.

In fact, even Taric, who generally uses targon's, uses coin at a higher winrate.

a taric support will benefit more from coin now since he can actually be agressive. same with sona, the point isnt "oh its still good" the point is the quest reward in comparison to the other 2 is completely.. useless? a literal janna passive in comparison to movespeed on 3 ability hits or a big ass shield is very lackluster, coin is still usable and better on agressive styled supports that dont go full ap (even doe they do better with it). the lack of hp regen is only decent on ppl who can just heal themselves anyway
