Riot I think it is time to make all the runes 100 IP each or free. There is no reason to have to grind for runes. It make the game so stupid when you get a team mate that has no runes and gets shit on because of it. You have over 120 champ that people grind for no reason for the runes also.
I have spent over 150k on runes and I dont care if you make them all free make the game fare for these new players
I'm pretty sure I saw a thread about the cost of runes. Saw some math that said buying all tier 3 runes was about 150k
Rune rewards for champion mastery? 1 random primary rune per mastery levels 2 and 3 per champ.
130-ish champs x 2 (for 2 Mastery levels) = 260. Number of Tier 3 primary runes: 29 x 9 = 261.
Another idea is to make them available for Blue Essence. Only problem with that is the higher chance for bad rolls since Runes are in the spinner now.
Maybe add an option to change champ shards into runes? With a cost? 2 for a rune? Idk.
The game has no real Content, no money sinks at all, thanks to RP (or waiting a month) reliant hextech. If runes are made dirt cheap or free, its taking the only IP sink other than champions out of the game. What about people who own all champions? Unless rito adds a way to waste IP, other than buying new champions, a large number of people will have thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of saved up ip, for nothing. Playing the game for no sense of progression whatsoever.
Then what are we supposed to do when we have 150k IP or more.
Finally an interesting request, this would make games more balanced.
I own all the champions I want to play and it's still hard to buy Runes, because I save up to unlock each new champion and i'm trying to save up for a name-change with IP.
Honestly please just fucking turn on IP for old Ward Skins or something to draw the cost out of the Rune System
Please. I just leveled an account 30 and I had JUST ENOUGH IP TO BUY ONE RUNE PAGE.
I STILL HAVE TO BUY 14 OTHER CHAMPIONS.
Pretty ridiculous how some Tier 3 Non-Quintessence Runes are 820 IP. We usually get like around 40-80 IP per match depending on performance and win/loss.
So... what, that's like 11-22 games to get a single rune that, by itself, has negligible power attached to it?
runes should be free/unlocked automatically especially when you're level 30 playing ranked. Or just remove it completely. Been playing for 3.5 years now and i haven't gotten all the champions yet and barely enough runes to actually create a diverse amount of rune page.
Dont even bother with runes, the are pretty useless.

I have been playing since beta. I have all the champions, 15 rune pages and I am missing 40 other types of Runes.
And I have a ridiculous amount of game played in normals, dominion, Ascension(when available), Doombots(when available), Urf(when available), Snowdown(when available) and ARAM.
