people always complain about how tanks dont exist. but they always play squishy champions. like wtf. play a real tank and u will see how tanks are really hard to kill. play someone like rammus,alistar,sion,chogath(with a semi tank build and not full ap),malp with a tank build and not AP, these champions are cancer to play against becuase it feel like you do no dmg to them while they can just 1 shot you becuase ur a squishy. the problem isnt how tank items are bad the problem is that tank items dont need to be a thing becuase tanks can one shot you and there is no point of staying alive if u can just 1 shot the enemy ADC and support.

And then there's Lethality, Yasuo's ult, Pyke's execute... face it, against many matchups, tanks are simply too weak to survive. Lack of mobility, incredible amounts of CC from opponents, and aformentioned armor ignore/shred/penetration don't make for healthy environment for tanks. While it's true that some tank champions, if ahead, will be pretty much unkillable, it's not that common as you might think. All it takes to almost remove tanks from match, is to shut them down in early game.

I mained Leona, and while she's still really good at supporting, it's mostly due to her strong CC capability, not her tankiness, which was nerfed a while back, and never really given compensated.

Literally every class in the game can kill most ranged adcs, even supports. That's the price you pay for having the potential to do 1k+ with only auto attacks.

That said, there isn't a single tank in this game that one-shots without running a damage build. The problem is that having loads of damage is the only way tanks can be relevant.

Hardly anyone is going to opt into playing a class that is masochistic to play, while Riot refuses to allow them to achieve even the most basic satisfactions players expect when they hear the FUCKING NAME OF THE CLASS.
