@ZenontheStoic Please consider tweaking Taliyah's W and it's interaction with her kit.
Give her that "oof" feeling back when she lands a E W combination. Right now, it's just a "eeh" feeling because of it's nerfed damaged that was to accommodate the lockout removal. 15% falloff is a lot and it's a little bit too much.
To balance this, her W should only lockout E, but not the rest of her skills. That way she would feel a lot more fluid to some people. Being able to chain W into E is powerful and it doesn't suit her at all. The reason for that is because she's designed to be a Disruption mage much like
, not a Combo mage like
. They have to get into close range and use their abilities to assist their team as much as they can. Of course, they have the potential to deal serious damage against poorly positioned players. I loved this as a Support main and her W was amazing for peeling. It could knock people into any direction or just upwards and it was easy to use. Now it feels unwelcoming to just aim with and it has lost it's flexibility of being able to knock people up.
Back her to W locking out E, it's to restrict her power and forces her to get in close or be patient to setup her minefield. As it stands now, she can instigate fights on her own, which simply does not feel right for a champion that needs to play patiently. Why? Because this encourages her to play selfishly like Lux does. Throw out CC. If it hits then do full combo. If it doesn't then sit back and wait for the cooldown. The W change really got rid of
's helpful utility aspect and turned her into a binary burst mage.
Speaking of the W change, it should get an actual AOE circle targeting reticle. I've played her ever since her release and I still find it hard to aim with because muscle memory fails on me from time to time. It should also get the knockup variation back through changing the W controls a bit.
I know I didn't list a lot of tweaks here, but I can if necessary and I really hope Riot addresses the change in Taliyah's playstyle. I really like Taliyah, but for the past month the small rework is just bugging me. Lockout changed how she plays completely.
