Pretty much compensates for getting to deal AoE damage with AAs again. Totally worth it.

For everyone except Khazix , adding Cleave is a nerf too.

Laners won't want it, because Cleave will push the lane as they last-hit.

Most junglers will already clear the jungle well without it by the time they can buy it.

Only Kha'Zix, who still needs clearing help after his jungle item, really benefits from the Cleave change.

Like Anraton said, if you don't want Cleave you shouldn't be building it in the first place.

Not everyone takes it for Cleave. Renekton takes it for animation canceling. Rengar takes it for mid-Leap burst.

Cleave is appreciated late game, when you want waveclear and AoE damage. But it's a nerf for laners who like Tiamat.

I remember the times, when physical dmg Top Laners and Junglers bought it because of the passive. Sorry, but saying you don't want aoe dmg is pretty much the stupidest thing ever. It's meant to be used for waveclear, not for Fiora having another AA reset for her combo.. If you want to deal damage and be a big factor in teamfights, or if you want to pressure with split pushing, Tiamat was the go-to item in the game. When they removed the passive, certain champs took a real big hit, like Khazix, Renekton and Trundle (post rework Shen would count too, but got released after the cleave passive removal), who want to push and be aggressive. Now with it finally coming back (shoutouts to riot, gj there!), these champs will likely have good chance to return to the scene.

Aatrox too, I had really troubble getting my midgame going without cleave, finished Hydras and Rageblade are just too expensive.

the point is the with this changed lining up titanic change ... AD down to 35 from 50 Jaurims Fist 15 AD, Tiamat 30 AD would result in 45 AD .. how you wanna explain thos "lost" 10 AD?

with these changes you got 20 ad from tiamat, 15 from Jaurims .. 35 AD + modified aoe damage ... looks fair and .. tiamat is an aoe damage item .. if you want single target damage it shouldn't be within your buildpath!

IMO it does .. as someone like fiora or talon should NOT be building this item ... i expect that the %hp damage scaling will be increased in a second step.
