I dont do amazing in games but I win?
I go something like 8/10/12 in games as adc but I am winning them. Am I just getting carried or am I doing somrthing right?

KDA means absolutely nothing...people should get the idea of needing to have a positive score to win out of their heads.
This type of thread confuses me... Usually I only see "I do amazing in games but I lose".
Well, the odds are if you avoid being a drooling idiot in a lategame teamfight, and their ADC gets caught and dies before you do, you end up winning.
Just because you don't get a positive score (especially as adc) doesn't mean you'll lose automatically. What wins you games is having good objective control, communication, and teamwork.
League is not Call of Duty. Literally no one cares about your KDA (unless its just absurdly low). Get towers, get dragons, get cs, THOSE matter.
Every game is different, answer that question yourself
It depends. Did you actually contribute to the game via taking/controlling objectives, warding and communication? If you did any of this, you're doing fine. It just means that the enemies focused you more.
Idk. need more context.
Imma guess that you are being a blithering idiot in lanephase, but lategame have good shot calling/decision making.
ADC is a prime target so I wouldn't blame you for a high death count. What's important is if your doing your Job as an ADC. If you feel like your having an impact, then your probably doing things right.
Most mechanics in the game are set up to give the losing team a fighting chance, don't be surprised by comebacks or winning when you feel you are behind or doing poorly.
Do you push? Do you secure dragons? Do you soak up tons of damage, CC, and ults in teamfights?
You know those games where that 22/1/3 Katarina or Vayne gets a pentakill and proceeds to farm jungle or back instead of pushing? Those are the games where you win as your team is 30 kills behind simply because you outscale and outpush your enemies. I start to lose hope when my teammates ignore my pings and try to solo baron or back when they could have ended. The people who won't take advantage of an advantage are the people who deserve to climb elo the least.
Heimerdinger is a really good example of this. He can be 0/5/3 and still have 2 turrets 10 minutes into the game. Then he goes to secure dragon, then bot turrets, then mid, then baron. Before you know it that Heimerdinger who is now 0/8/8 has carried the game as an unsung hero.
As long as you are taking towers, you are winning. When I play ADC, I always suicide for a tower if there isn't some immediately obvious throw from doing it. Tower DPS is everything, fuck K/D.
If you want a more accurate way to numerically measure how well you did check the extra stats. Damage dealt to champs, damage taken, and damage dealt overall give you a good idea of how you're doing. If you end up dealing twice as much damage as anyone else on your team then you probably did pretty well even if your score is 8/10/12 because that damage means that you were setting up other people for kills well, and high overall damage means you contributed to keeping the minion waves pushed. Obviously in a void these stats are also kind of useless but when taken with your KDA it gives you a clearer picture of how much/how little you contributed.
In the end though the only real way to tell if you're doing something right is if you are winning more than you are losing, because winning/losing games is the only thing that really matters in the end. You may get carried/get dragged down in a couple games but if you win more than you lose then it means you are doing something right... or your duo partner is a high elo smurf :P
You don't have to do amazing in games to win, but you at least have to contribute positively to your team.
Your KDA doesn't say you did amazing, but you still were able to help your team achieve victory, so you were still amazing.
This is a common thing for anyone to experience in any game outside of League even, The game is heavily reliant on team work, whether you feel like you are contributing or not, you are, every action you do and don't do is affecting the outcome of the match, so do your best and know you took part in winning.
Even if you AFK farm in the jungle and never interact but still win will have an impact.
