Recent Blitzcrank nerf

I've played a TON of blitzcrank, and in my opinion the nerf to blitz is completely unwarranted.

First I'd like to talk about the recent trend in league of legends to making more abilities skill shots. When we saw reworks for ryze, zilean, and veigar. We saw them get changed to more balance the game by adding more skill to the champion instead of facerollin button mashing. We have also seen recent changes being made where new champions have much more movements speed/escapes/gap closers. Yet in a time when the rest of the league is getting buffs to mobility we see blitzcrank getting nerfed.

Phases of the game: Early game blitz is undisputedly the strongest. Pulling an adc under tower or just into your minions can mean a kill, but again look at the recent champion additions... Kalista has such an easy time dodging blitz pulls not to mention proper positioning by an adc support combo can punish a blitz hugely. Mid game blitz used to be fairly good. He could roam around the map and make plays by engaging with his w into pull. now however if you run into any issues your dead in the water. And as a plat player people are often going to be dodging your pulls even before the w nerf. Now mid game blitz is MUCH less useful Late game there are no longer many champions worse than blitz. He can no longer gap close to hit his pull, and after he hits it likely on a tank the other team just got a great engage, and he dies along with his entire team.

I would like to point out that blitzcrank's only usefulness mid to late game is hitting a pull. He has very little peal and very little damage. I also watch a ton of pro play whether it be NA EU LCK or LPL and i can only remember one game in which blitz was played. In that game the team who played him lost. There are just so many alternatives to blitz with better options.

Please give me my old blitz back! I really don't feel his old w was unbalanced
