To be honest, I main Darius. But why does everyone hate him _that _ much? Yesterday, I met a Thresh who told me I should kill myself because I play such an op champion, and he even called me a retard afterwards. Then, today an Ahri kept flaming me because I play this guy since he's so op. But actually, I just got very fed in this game. I'd say Darius is strong - really strong, but is that a reason to insult someone because they like him?

As a conclusion, I got: -Death threats -My parents should die -I should hang myself -And I should get cancer

Should I kill myself now?

You should mute the people saying those and report them; Riot does NOT want people who say those kinds of things having unrestricted chat (or even playing the game for more severe things like being told to kill yourself).

I hate Darius, but keep playing him and ignore the disrespect. I play a bit of Riven and the experience is similar, people will mistreat you based solely on your choice of champion, most of whom have never played said champion.

Agree with the Lord Dusteon here, mute, report, and move on. There are way too many jerks in this game. I try to do my best to stay above the fray. It still gets to me sometimes, and that's very unfortunate. Generally though I just try to ignore the people who can't help but cause toxic relationships. Often they will say "what, it's not toxic if it's true." Which is plainly ludicrous, but you can't reason with kids (I mean that generally, you can be 50 and act like a child).

You realize, you shouldn't care what others think of you. Especially when it comes to a video game, in which you play/main a champion. When you come to terms with this, you'll be better off.
