Ranked LP System (New System?)
This is just my suggestion, just posting to share...
Ranking in Season 6 is really difficult due to bad match making, and several other reasons, but I have a suggestion for gaining LP and losing LP.
I strongly believe you should gain/lose LP based off how well you play.
Lets say you get a _ Rank with a victory: S rank = 22-28 LP A Rank = 17-21 LP B Rank = 16-13 LP C-D Rank = 12- LP
Lets say you get a _ Rank with a loss: S-A rank = -6-14 LP B-D Rank = -12-20 LP
So you would be gaining LP and losing LP based of performance.
- This will remove boosting accounts, aside from when someone logs on your account to boost it themselves.
- This will sort ranks out better. The amount of times I've seen people in a certain rank, and lets just say they were a boosted animal to say the least.
Like I said though, I strongly believe LP should be based off performance, or... You should/could visually show us our MMR and other players MMR in-game, so I can see who im being placed with and if the people im playing with are even good or if they got boosted to be playing with me.
Some bronze players belong in silver, some silver players belong in gold, some gold players belong in plat, etc. But... Some gold players belong in silver, some silver players belong in bronze, and some plat players belong in silver... Pattern goes on, and most people honestly, dont really belong in what rank they are, but they abused dynamic Que to rank up with their friends, or they played the broken champs to climb easily. Point is... Somethings gotta change with the way ranked works currently.
jungle to save my life although I put up great jungle stats (besides low cs). If they improve their performance system then maybe..... but in its current state its shit and it would make ranked even worse. People wouldn't want to team fight because death = potentially less lp. People would even help team less just to sit in lane to cs. Now in a really low elo like low silver or bronze this may make some sense but it would develop shitty habits for higher elos and make the game less fun.
a few weeks ago on my team who got a lot of kills. We did not have a lot of tanks and he was our major dps. We ended up winning the game since he would get 3-4 kills a team fight. He boasted the entire game about how bad we were and how he was carrying us but in reality he was just as bad. The only reason he survived long enough in those fights to get 3-4 kills was from us peeling, my black shields, rest of the team sacrificing themselves to keep him alive since he was our best chance of winning. In the end we won and it was a great team effort, but if you looked purely at stats all you would think is "wow that yasuo carried". But in reality he was a little flamming toxic bitch who had teammates willing to work with his little annoying ass to win the game instead of putting up great stats.
