So if Yi is balanced... Why is he able to press Q and cancel out Syndra's ult?

As the title says...

I had this happen to me yesterday while playing Syndra. Once I ulted MasterYi, he simply pressed his Q and canceled out my ult - he did not take any damage what so ever, nor did any of my balls spawn afterwards.

I find that this is very unfair that MasterYi gets an ability that can cancel out champions ults, as it has no counter (that I know of) that can stop this.

This is actually pretty funny considering you were playing Syndra. You want to talk about an ability being unfair, hah.

Syndra can't really one-shot with her three-four balls anymore (she needs around six-seven balls; you might be able to get away with five).

At the same time, I am not fond her having her ult still continue when she dies. xD

Eh, it's a perk to the ability and he isn't the only one who can cancel ults.

Ults are powerful abilities, but they are not invincible.

Had you waited till he used his q before your ult he would have taken damage. You got outplayed.

Pretty sure your Ult outranges his q as well.. You got outplayed.

You missed Shaco Taric (with godlike prediction)

Also Braum, he technically takes the damage but reduces it by 40% and stops it from hitting your intended target.
