@riot, so i played 8 games on my one day off

and 6 of those had an afk in it...all ranked.....

seems fair to lose all those games and lp.....

can we fix this already? im tired of spending a whole day pretty much losing massive amounts of lp because of this which will take more than a whole day to get back if i won everygame in a week on my next 1 day off

@riot, this shit is getting old already, maybe you dont get that many afks but some of us do and honestly not trying to be a dick but its bullshit already... this will legit (if i won every game) take me at least 1-2 weeks to get back to where i started before these afks happened

(btw mods you shouldnt be removing this considering it has to do with both gameplay and balance, my games were ruined to afks (others im sure get them to but i seem to get them very often almost to the point of every other game and in this case more than every other game) and no i dont belive 5/8 games having an afk (on my side and 1 on the enemy side) to be balanced by any means

make a non exploitable way, or make an exploitable way that you can at least track and punish......or make longer ques, on my one day off a week id gladly sit in an hour que to play a game w/o an afk rather than this....

honestly this can be fixed very easily but for some reason you just wont implement it......how might you ask? well its as simple as this

make the reports do something......thats it.....not low priority ques.....straight bans, getting progressively longer with each game they afk....there is only 3 types of afks -people who "ragequit" which usually involves them feeding a bunch of deaths and just quitting -people who dont have good internet (who for some reason keep playing anyway like it will magically get better) -people who have emergencies

afking is against the rules, and should be punishable....not with a low priority que if they do it for like 5 games out of 20, it should be punishable each time...

internet geeks out 1/5 games? withing a weeks time thats 72 other peoples games ruined...in just a week...this needs to be punished ragequitter? this is obv that they should need punishments emergencies? this shouldnt be happening often enough that it should matter, and if it is, they need to consider their priorities before joining games (belive in the rules it also says make sure you have time to play before joining games)

its really as simple as handing out bans, people will take it serious if they want to keep playing

its as simple as that, so why aren't we doing this? (dont give me the, people will exploit it excuse, if they got banned they wouldnt be doing it often because they would be banned and even if you had multiple level 30 accounts you would have to duo que with the person...is it that hard to notice player A has been in X games with afks and they all happened to be their duo partner?) (dont give me the other excuse that "well people would just flame someone till they quit,telling them to quit etc" we have a mute button, someone is flaming you to leave (or just flaming you in general) there is a mute button...its as simple as that, plus they should be banned for being toxic but thats a whole nothing thing but point being, mute button)

implement something, im tired of my 1 day off playing 8 games and having 6 afks in them....permaban for exploits and ban for progressively longer days at a time for afking.....

if you dont think its a problem, feel free to invite me to your next 8 games and i will afk in 6 of em...you can share how you feel after we're done, otherwise you know how bs of a problem it is and i just gave you a simple fix for it... esp riot staff, id love to see how you guys feel about having a 6/8 game afk rate like myself.....no they arent flukes they happen at least once out of every 3 games for me and in this case it was about 2/3

so @riot, why are we not doing this?

my other account(s) are gold and high silver (ones gold now, other was gold last season but i won 7/10 of placements in this season and got ranked b2 and said fk that account once i started getting 5+ afks ina row on that one also)

i put in the time into 3 accounts (so far the gold this season hasnt got that many maybe 3 out of 20 games) but my original that is only silver2-3 i got fked in my original placements with 10 afks in my first 8 placement matches...yes all on my side

this problem can be fixed and they just refused to do it....

btw in response to "moberrybuisness", not only did i never say they should prioritize me but your a douchebag in what you assumed and how you put it...everyone gets afks and some more than others, and i feel like ive got a shitton on 2 accounts (the account last season that was gold i was 63wins and 20 losses then got like 3-4 separate streaks of 5-7 afks ina row till i was eventually 65-63...yes i lost about 40 games in a row....some due to me playing bad, some to others feeding and raging and nothing i can do, but mostly to afks

again tho, low priority ques are not enough to combat people from understanding either their internet sucks and they shouldnt be playing or that its against the rules and getting mad and quitting because your doing bad is not acceptable

again to moberrybuisness, how am i being a douchebag tho? because i explained a well known problem? or is it because im asking why dont they implement a fix for this when i clearly just said how to implement one? again you seem like one of those people who would rage quit because ur bad at the game, and also a douchebag yourself lmao seems as tho your defending afks in which case the only reason i could see why you'd do that is you afk yourself

Hey man, sorry you are having troubles, I know how it feels, honestly there are just some days where it stacks the odds against you. I can tell you that the higher ranked you get the less AFKs you see but if you really care about winning over improving its easy to find other things in game to get upset about.

I think its just hard for newer players to set aside 45 mins for the game, I kind of wish there was a way to shorten matches in lower queues so people would afk less often. Riot does punish for AFKs though, I got a lower priority queue a while back for leaving a single game on purpose which I shouldn't have done, but I wasn't leaving other games and I havent done that once since.

tell that to my account that i have a 28 ranked game ban from, which i will never get out of because i'm too paranoid to play pvp anymore and i don't even play draft mode. i'm essentially perma-banned from a mode I haven't played in 3 years and have no intention of ever starting. but i get that nice little pop up every time i feel like logging in to play a bot game, it's like a window that says "YOU GOT TROLLED BY RIOT, LOLZ". and it makes me think.

i would also like to state the obvious, the reason there's so many trolls in the game is because people allow them. People would rather gang up and frenzy-hate on someone who types intelligently into the chat box than someone who turret dives the enemy 4 times before level 3. I've seen it in ever game of League of Idiots i've ever played, which is ofc why I'm now too neurotic to even play pvp anymore and why all my accounts have many, many bans.

tl,dr; It's your own damn fault. You treat reporting like a silly game instead of a serious responsibility.

The amount of AFK's before level 30 is insane, don't worry about it much, once you get level 30 and play normals the afks go away and when you play ranked there really arent that many either, and hitting high elo, there are like no afks, i havent had an afk in months and im in plat.

Hard to believe you played 8 games in a day with 6 afks. Especially since you are posting on a lvl 20 account.

While you might have had some afks, they weren't in ranked on this account, and I doubt you had 6 of them in 8 games, unless you were playing dominion with bots and counting that as an afk.
