Bronze Elo (not a complaint thread)

Just a heads up for any one who still thinks bronze is elo hell. I have not played very many ranked games. Just hit 70 this season and I'm already almost out of bronze all the way from bronze 5.

If you play a champion you love, win or lose you will usually have fun.

I went bronze 5 - 2 with leona, my tenth favorite champ, mainly because I find her boring. Let me tell you that killed my ranked attitude. I was not toxic, but boy was I a pessimist. Every ult that I missed I though "well, gg we are gonna lose" But I still made the partial climb, but every win felt empty, and every loss killed my mood. After a 5 losing streak, four from afks and one from the tilt, I stopped playing for about 3 months. I do like Leona, but because I was bored, it made those first 50+ matches hell.

Sona is my main support champion. I never used her in ranked because I was afraid of suddenly sucking with her. That was a mistake. My last how ever many ranked games have all been with my true main. Win or lose I've been having fun, even got her to mastery 7. Went from bronze 2 to 1 with Sona and it has not felt like the "Bronze Hell" I had with Leona.

If you find yourself stuck in a tier, take a break. Play normals and aram for a month. Sometimes you have to take a break from ranked. I have a friend who is now in platinum, that for the first four seasons, he was stuck in bronze. All he did was play ranked and it made him nearly quit. In season 5 I forced him to play aram with me till he felt like he could play ranked again, he got to gold IV by the end of the season. He now plays ranked for most of the week and a couple days of normal's and aram. He told me it helps him keep his head clear and helps with getting stuck.

Chat with your team and the enemy. Don't do this in the middle of fights, or at bad times like when your being tower dived. If you can chat and have fun, most of the time the losing team will not end up blaming the loss on a single person. Games tend to be a lot more positive and fun when both teams can openly chat with each other.
