When you make a balance post, make sure you explain why you feel a certain way

I'm getting sick of the Yas/Riven/Vayne/Lee/whoeveritisthistime hate circlejerk. Sometimes these champs do fall out of line (Lee relatively recently), but most of the time the boards hates them because its the best way to get upvotes.

These post are important, however. They let Riot know what the community thinks (The gameplay boards is a pretty good voice for lower-elo players. I dont say this to be rude. Look up the op.gg of most of the people that post, most are below gold. I myself was gold last season, and am unranked right now, so its not like this doesnt apply to me)

So whats the point of this post? When you make a post, explain why its overpowered, or should not be allowed. For example, you could argue that lee r should not stun when ult target lands to punish people who have not practiced him enough to land r>q (It gives them less time to do it). Not saying I think this should happen necessarily, but for dear god, take at least 10 minutes to make a post, not "Why does Riven have literally everything" even though most people know this isnt true, but the boards hate her anyways so free upvotes.

The Stickied post about making balance post is great, but no one seems to read it anymore. Not saying everyone does this, there are some great gameplay posters out there. For example, the morde main who i totally forgot his name that went into detail about why morde was in a bad spot, and the best part, explained how to fix it.

Seriously, help fix the problem, dont be a part of another one. Next time you say how overpowered Vayne is, take some time to think how to fix it. Another thing, playing a champ helps a lot. If you cant seem to ever beat Riven, try her out. It helped a lot for me.

Most posts in gameplay are like this:

"X champion is OP" I just lost to X and I won't tell you how fed they were or any other context but since I lost they must be OP.

Here, I'm going to list all the things their abilities do as if having abilities inherently makes a champion OP. See, look how OP that is? Anyone who argues that it's not OP is just a main who doesn't want their freelo discovered.

God bless you, and I'm an atheist. Someone who actually has enough brainpower to understand how awful some of these gameplay posts are.

You aren't wrong, but just to play devils advocate. Yasuo is, has, and always will be complained about. Unlike other champs you listed that come in and out of the "rage-light" based on whether they are oppressive at the time, yasuo is hated and raged about on the boards regardless of his winrate or current strength. Notice how no one gives a shit about Ekko anymore after people raged for an entire season about him being broken? when was the last time you saw a "nerf Vayne" thread? Camille was raged about for awhile, but no one talks about her now. There are definately people like you describe, but i think the "gameplay" boards are aren't as an "arbitrary hate mob" as posts like this say.

most of the time the boards hates them because its the best way to get upvotes.

I'm sure this happens as well, but "omg gameplay board is so dumb" is a pretty easy way to farm up-votes as well... Teemo knows you aren't the first one to make a post like this in the last 2 hours.
