What Aurelion Sol Needs

Alright, I played about 3-5 games with him after a while of not playing him, and I've got a few things that honestly might just make him viable. We all know he isn't compared to many other mages, don't even bother with trying to tell me he is because that would just be plain wrong.

Pros Great roaming potential Giant AoE CC Constant output of damage even without mana Great ulti that does decent damage

Cons Passive damage is basically shrugged off W is unreliable Q damage is underwhelming and easily dodged E's CD is way too long for how predictable it is If W isn't up, you force yourself within melee range just to do damage

So, there's the gist of it. He's a good teamplay champ, but just doesn't do nearly as much damage as other mages. The ones he does come close to however just have better kits with more reliable damage or easier to land cc. I know Riot isn't going to be looking at this post, but hey maybe they will.

Fixes:

Make Q deal more damage the bigger it gets. Zoe exists now, so why can't Aurelion Sol get a similar treatment? Know what is dumb? Watching a giant spinning star heading towards you with you having no way to dodge it, then getting hit by it and taking around 600 damage at end game. Then you just laugh, turn around and get hit by a max range Zoe Q and taking 1k from a tiny star. Something is wrong there, huh? There honestly should be three stages to his Q. Base damage at the smaller sizes, double damage at about three seconds of size growth, and triple damage at six seconds of star growth. This wouldn't make him as broken as Zoe is right now, and the Q would still be able to be dodged with ease, but if you're skilled enough to land it man... Now THAT would be a creator of stars damage output.

Make his stars spin faster. You don't even know how many times I've used Sol and watched people with high mobility literally just move faster than my stars or just jump through them without any issue. The stars are just hard to hit with and don't do enough. Now when you're chasing, yeah they have a good speed. But really? All they have to do is jump towards you, you shrink yourself and your stars are even more useless. I would rather get less range of the W and just have it spin twice as fast. That'd be awesome.

PLEASE make his E CD shorter or at least move faster. Simple really. A long cooldown on a movement ability that is interrupted by basically everything and does nothing besides gets you places easier is just bleh. It's not really a big problem I suppose, just annoying when others have much faster initiates that actually deal damage and line up their other abilities much better.

His passive range is in an awkward placement that honestly just plain stupid. Mostly because it's so short that unless you have your W up, which doesn't have a long cooldown thank god, you're never going to be dealing any poke or burst damage. His kit revolves so much around his W that it's just plain annoying how useless it is unless your chasing them closely or they are cc'd in place for a large period of time.

All in all it's an interesting kit, but when you pull off his kit well you just get nothing big out of it. Compared to how easy it is to land Zoe's E-Q combo that one shots basically everything that isn't a tank, seeing Sol's kit do so little is just... Saddening.

no the tiny star is 1k with out sleep, it death with sleep, now there the problem and she getting buff too next patch, so only counter play to her now is banning the shit out of her, along with vayne urgot and ez.

His winrate is around 50%, i dont think he needs any buffs.
