Spend the next 8 minutes watching a video that discusses why game developers intentionally create unbalanced games before you about the overall game being unbalanced. (Hint, it's not some scam.)

Now, with that being said, are there problems with the game state?

Of course there are. Lethality is still a massive problem ever since Riot gave assassins two brand new items that pack it in the class rework. On top of that, tanks, specifically divers like Hecarim and Vi have become massive problems due to Courage of the Colossus and now take and deal as much damage as juggernauts while completely ignoring their primary weakness: immobility.

TL;DR: Yes, Yasuo is a cheese champion who has way more damage built into his kit than almost any other champion in the game, but that doesn't make him broken. Riven is still Riven due to her high skill cap. Ryze is continuing to one shot squishies with a QWQEQ combo.

All of these champion-specific details aside, though, doesn't make them broken. They're actually what makes the game fun.

There is nothing fun about not being able to play the game because you keep getting 1 shot.

Well no, them beeing broken/op doesnt make the game fun for everybody. I enjoy playing cho even if hes trash atm and that is because of his kit, nothing else. And you cant compare/use 1v1 and basketball to accurately judge balance for Mobas.....

The very, very, very short version: "Broken" is not good for mobas, since everybody has access to this "Broken" not just only 1 out of millions. Mobas are teamgames which do have individual skill but are teamgames in the end. So you cant balance around 1v1 only, because you have 5v5s too. And you "grow", get better with levels and items, which makes it a curve and not a flat plain, unchanging strength level. Mobas are extremely hard to balance because of all these variables! Basketball or streetfighter is a joke in terms of balance compared to them :D

Look, this in theory super tiny buff to lethality from 40/60 to 60/40 exploded some champs. A -5AD nerf to vayne made her from unbalanced to normal. If you want to spice things up, make items, champs or rework/update old ones. This "make them broken so it makes fun" is bad, no its not just bad, it BREAKS the game. And normally you try to avoid to completely wreak your own game. Getting 1 shoted by 25% off the champion pool is not "fun".

Riot, sadly, doesnt seem to do tweaks to bad decisions... I dont know why they still keep this up, possibly the fear of losing reputation, but at the cost of actuall game health/balance, which is not good at all... Currently the 60/40 buff was to much, way to much, but why on earth do they not bring it down to 50/50?! If you did something wrong, you fix this, exactly this! And not try some other things that could backfire... If you still want to try other things too, do that AFTER you fixed or atleast tweaked the main problem!
