Riot nerfed her early game into the ground....the only part of the champion that constituted why anyone actually picked her...
They should have nerfed some of her gratuitous strengths instead of her identity.
I agree, she seemed perfectly balanced to me before the nerfs.
Syndra had 2 things: 1 - Lane bullying which COULD transition into a reasonable mid game. 2 - Mid game potential of picks with her stun.
She lost both of those. She does fuck-all for damage early game so she's no longer a lane bully without going OOM and being worthless really fast (especially with the S5 mana nerfs), and her stun no longer works so she can't even get picks anymore.
Syndra was gutted, better nerf Sona.

Okay, really. I'm kinda fed up with people acting like this when for ONE WEEK their champion is nerfed into the ground. How about Evelynn, Urgot, and all the other champions nerfed to being almost unviable for over a year. Just calm down, they're obviously going to fix her because she's syndra.
Undo the nerfs.
Reduce the radius of her Q by 20%. Returning it when she has it at rank 5.
Now takes more skill to play her in the early game.
Realistically though. She was fine before. 100-0'ing someone with her ult required a long setup that took a lot of mana. And without DFG it'll be much less common.

And on the second day, Sona watched and laughed as the curse of her once bright being traveled upon the mid lane. The curse itself had no meaning or true path of destruction or so Riot believed, however it always did seem to miss the resourcless and energy based of threats. And thus, mana regen, core items and balance had been removed from the game.
The thing is, Syndra could kill an ADC on her own. Killing the ADC should be a team effort, and she was sometimes doing it all by herself.

Actually Elise has lowest right now. But I agree. She didn't need nerfs. She was in a pretty good spot before this last patch.
