LeBlanc Mimic R

I know that the current global and uncontrollable clone from Leblanc 's mimic R has some useful uses such as its intended use, which is as distraction, away from the real LeBlanc when used properly. As a skillshot blocker, and as a scouting tool. But in terms of actually using it to deceive people, I honestly think that Mimic R just doesn't quite hit its full potential.

I think it would be better to switch the current double Mimic to LeBlanc's old passive where she goes into a 1 second invisibility and spawns a controllable clone that last I believe it was 8 seconds? but its own cooldown is the same as the current one that scales with CDR and is also pressed twice.

If ever it gets changed again once Riot starts working on her next rework, I think this is a good experiment. It doesn't have to be the way to go.

Deception is kind of a tricky fantasy to get right.

I don't think the old passive was really a good example. That only procced defensively, and had very little offensive use.

Offensively speaking, Shaco's Hallucinate is probably better, since it can still do damage, and is a significant inconvenience if you get the wrong one. And Defensively speaking, WuKong's Decoy works better, as the decoy appears to seamlessly be the real deal. (Especially if the Decoy is used to block a skill shot with CC attached)

Ideally, to get leblanc right, you want to implement aspects of the two, without stepping on the others toes.

I agree that it has limited uses, and the better the opponents are, the less likely they are to get fooled.

Best way to actually deceive people with it, is spawn it on your W return pad, by reflex most enemies will believe you W'd back.

My most efficient use is probably to ''countergank'' with it, people will often back down from a tower dive when they see someone else coming. I saved many botlanes this way. Even if it makes them hesitate for a second or two it might save lives.

But yeah it's mostly just a bonus utility rather than an actual tool.
