Cleanse doesn t work vs airbones

I don t think cleanse is useless, however compared to other summoners it lacks a lot of reliability, if you look to the amounts of use it has compared to other summoners you will get what i m saying. I think cleanse would be awesome if at least it removed airbones because it sucks so much when you get hit by a janna q in the middle of a teamfight, you see you are stunned, you use cleanse and nothing happens. It tilts me so much, last time i had cleanse, their team had a cho and a janna and i was forced to buy qss anyways. It s true that cleanse removes ignite and exaust but you still get hit by it for a short moment before you react. I think that in order to turn cleanse more reliable and for it to actually compensate for the skill it takes to use it with perfect timing. It should at least remove airbones.

And suppression so that you dont need to waste 1300g when against Malzahar

That would kill Malz though.

What they really need is a AP QSS, or at the very least just a straight tank QSS. HP, MR or MR, Armor.

Malz, Skarner, Urgot, and WW would all get f'd in the A. It's not that Malz's ult is broken, most champs outside of ADCs have no real counterplay. Making Cleanse rid suppression would ruin the idea of those 4 champions. Having a AP or Tank version of QSS would still hurt them but it also forces the opponents to build them.

Three of those champions perform their suppressions in a healthy way, either with a skill shot or needing to be in melee range (although skarner skirts the edge of toxic)

Malz sits at 600 range and presses a button and can deal far more damage than the rest can alone.

I agree. Malzahar ult is very unhealthy for the game for the same reason they removed QSS cleansing Zed ultimate. It forces Zed to snowball before they get it and it forces opponents to waste 1300 gold for something that doesn't have much value other than to cleanse the ultimate.

Does Sejuani get frolicking in the arabesque against QSS / Cleanse. Nope not really because her kit is pretty strong and she isn't entirely based around his ultimate. Also they did a good job with Urgot, he's not make or break if his ultimate is cleansed so I don't think he belongs on that list. Neither does Skarner or Warwick to be honest. They're not ult bots, they have strong functioning kits.

I see your point though but it's not really a gameplay thing in terms of balance, it's gameplay in that the gameplay sucks. It feels lame having your ultimate ability shrugged off.

Also cleanse is only really viable on mid and bot lane champions. Top, jungle, and support never run cleanse. Idk what you're talking about on different versions of QSS.

I don't have an opinion on cleanse btw, it's nice the way it is.

They need to make qss a tank item and remove mucurial. Stupid defensive items on adc's without any downside is pretty stupid. You should be forced into buying a defensive item if you want to be safe.

I tought about it but i kinda understand that it would suck to malz players to have their ult ruined just by the use of a summoner spell, however there are so many airbones in the game most of them not ultimates (like the example i gave of janna's q) that i feel like it makes no sense to don t be able to cleanse them

I'd prefer to see him getting denied by cleanse rather than QSS line: 210s for cleanse 120/100/80 ult cd. Whereas QSS got a 90s. 90. Without any CDR you could juste use it everytime malz does it.

item 3140 should NOT get rid of suppress. item 3222 summoner 1 SHOULD.
