I'm on a Quinn train right now. and I'm wondering if it's doable to rush that first item.
The reason would be to attempt to build towards teams with 2 or more hard tanks.
The alternative seems to go straight ad until Last Whisper as 3rd item but that still leaves me without a defensive item.
It hurts your damage a lot. But you can try it out.
It's not the best, for either of the Quinn builds (APen vs crit). This is due to the fact that 1) BoRK is pretty expensive now, 2), it doesn't provide that much raw AD. Gold for stat, there are much better items you could get that would serve your purposes better.
It's not bad, depends on your matchup and it also depends if you're winning. (If you took her top you should be winning) If I'm in for the long haul though and just can't burst down those tanks I either
a. Roam a ton and still build youmuus first
b. buckle down in top if the roaming potential just isn't there and probably build a BotRK
I'm weird though, sometimes I build black cleaver for extra kiting and the armor shred to help out the rest of my team for ganks and team fights
Not anymore, imo. It used to be the go-to item for her in top lane, but then they gave her much better scalings with AD, and nerfed Bork with no compensation. Not to say it's impossible, but I would say there wouuld have to be a very goodd reason to get it.

she doesn't synergize well with attack speed which is what botrk mean for. attack speed champions.
is fine as an early item, used to be pretty much the norm before the rework, kind of depends what lane you're in, top lane Quinn does pretty well with
