Autofill protection gone after REMAKE

Greetings, fellow Rift-ers.

So I've been getting annoyed lately with this matter. You play your few games as Jungler or Support (or is it just support plays that earn you the autofill protection), and then you finally get your midlane, adc or top pick. YAY!. NOPE.

The jungler or support didn't like their autofill and they decided to stay afk or someone had connection issues, and you are forced to remake. Especially with this patch, it's been happening even more than before.

Well, you are back to the screen where you decide which lanes you wish to play this time. There's a small annotation saying - "autofill activated". WHAT?!?! BUT I JUST PLAYED AS SUPP!!! Oh well, back to autofill it is.

I do admit, the queue doesn't automatically put you into support, and lots of times you still get your pre-picked lanes, but...You get the idea.

I completely agree. I was autofilled sup. Played the game and got the protection. But, I had two remakes in a row after and my protection was gone. Got autofilled again...

Riot has mentioned that they agree with a lot of players that you shouldn't lose your autofill protection due to remakes. I have a feeling there are technical issues standing in the way.
