I think the concept of Essence Reaver is amazing, giving caster-based marksmen CDR and a way to recover mana, but in practice it is not commonly used due to the mana passive not being needed by the time you can afford the item. I know I read somewhere on S@20 that they were making a sub-component item that builds into essence reaver awhile back but it was removed and never mentioned again. Does anyone know what happened to it? I think an item that gave about 20-30 ad, 10% cdr, and the 2-8% mana restore for around 1550 gold would be amazing on some carries. Not to mention it would help diversify ADC builds a bit. Thoughts/ opinions?
