A small but effective buff for Draven

Hey everyone, So, as a Draven main I have gained some experience from playing him over the years. I'm overall very satisfied with the way his gameplay works and with his current tier in the meta, but there is one thing that bothers me about his gameplay. It is the symbol that appears once your axe bounces off your enemy. Due to its visibility for both sides it's extremely easy for the enemy players to predict Draven's movements and his pathing, which then results in landing skillshots more easily. I assume that the visibility was originally planned so that an enemy Draven could catch his opponent's axe as well, so I suggest that only allied or hostile Draven players should be able to see the symbol of Spinning Axe on their screens. This could lead to increased difficulty in landing skillshots on Draven which I think is his biggest weakness. Therefore, if Riot planned on buffing Draven, this is my suggestion. Let me know what you think and if this could lead to him being overpowered. Note: I might as well be wrong and the symbol is an intentional disadvantage, please don't flame me and be polite. Draven

It's intentional. Riot gave Draven some of the strongest snowballing and dps in the game with the catch being you have to manage a target painted on your back at all times.

I would love a message that says 'if i catch this you are fucked'

working as intended

most likely all draven needs to be back into tier 1 is a meta shift or maybe some itemization tweaks

To my understanding the symbols being visible to everyone is an intentional handicap to allow the enemy to work around Draven's massive early-game damage. It makes Draven's axes something that can be played around by both Draven and his enemies, thus introducing a level of interactivity to his otherwise uninteractive gameplay (I'm not counting his passive here because that's a whole other can of worms with regards to interactivity). Basically, making Draven vulnerable to poke is a necessary way to prevent him from steamrolling the early game 90% of the time, plus the limited range of his axe bounces means that even if the indicator wasn't there it would still be relatively predictable.

So.... none of you guys have noticed that he's scheduled for buffs in patch 7.1?

Here's the rundown.

Spinning Axe (Q): Bonus damage changed to [flat 30/35/40/45/50 damage + 65/75/85/95/105% of bonus AD] from [45/55/65/75/85% of total AD] Blood Rush (W): Mana cost decreased to 40/35/30/25/20 from 40 at all ranks.

Short version. (used this website for the graph) Early game it is a massive buff, but late game, here is how it looks like, I've included from level 9 up to level 18 assuming you max Q first. https://s27.postimg.org/wqux3wug3/lol_example_205.png I only calculate the bonus dmg from Q, I saw no reason to also include the total damage you would deal.

They're changing the calculation from %bonus((Base+lvl)+BonusAD) to %bonus(0+BonusAD)+FlatBuff

Old Q lvl 5 calculation would be:

0.85((Base+lvl*2,91)+x)

New Q lvl 5 calculations would be

1.05x+50

Dravens base AD is 55,8 + 2,91 per level

Pretty sure the axe landing position is visible to all because the great Draven is showing his enemies that he will catch said axe and murder them with it.
Draven's visible skill and respect would go way down without the marks on the ground. I don't think they'd design the marks that way just for mirror matches, it's for counterplay.
