love when adcs are as tanky as tank supports

just finished a game where in lane as braum with a with full resolve/tank runes taking overgrowth and the flex hp rune that Kai'sa had more hp then i did.

LIKE WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?

braum at lvl 3 has 668 base hp +125 + and the hp from runes i had 827 hp while kai'sa with just two long swords and a dorans blade at lvl 4 had 766 + 80 for a total of 846.

at all point of laning phase she had more hp then i did.

why is this ok ?

i mean i went 2-1-15 and we stomped the team even though i had less hp then the adc

you've got like 30 more armor than her though just off base stats

braum has 53 armor lvl 3 kai'sa 35 , 18 more armor.

You've got comparable health and health scaling to Kai'Sa, but you have more base resistances and incentives to build more health and resistances. 18 more armor means you had more EFFECTIVE health than her, even though the actual health amount was lower.

By the end of the game, your effective health should be much higher than hers because you probably built additional health, armor, and MR. You can afford to, since building those things scales the effectiveness of your abilities. If Kai'Sa were to build health and resistances, she'd see a sharp decline in her ability to do her job.

And that's not even taking into account your abilities. Braum has two defensive abilities and lots of CC. He can easily take more punishment than Kai'Sa by using his abilities to gain additional damage resist, armor, and MR. Kai'Sa has no defensive abilities besides her ult shield.

At that level, you were much tankier than Kai'Sa even if the actual health value suggested otherwise.

as a fukin adc

i can even post stats from a top lane match of a "juggernaut " vs a "tank " and how the juggernaut has more hp similar def stats while still getting damage runes and damage items and having kill potential while the tank cant even trade and auto loses lane

More base HP, less effective HP.

At level 1 with no items, runes, or shards:

Braum has an effective 794 HP against physical damage.
Kai'Sa has an effective 731 HP against physical damage.

This difference is even bigger since you went with a health rune and Relic Shield. Braum is 100%, undeniably tankier than Kai'Sa at level 1 and at every other point in the game. Just because the base HP is higher doesn't mean she's tankier in any capacity.

In the situation you described, you were even a level down and had more effective HP than her.

It's larger than the difference the OP was complaining about. And yes, Kai'Sa is ranged, but Braum has more than enough CC to close the gap.

It is unsurprising that most champions have comparable base stats. After factoring in runes Braum's effective HP advantage would be even greater.

Also, saying "ye but Kai'Sa is ranged" isn't a counterpoint.

just goes as more evidence that tanks are the subpar class in the game.

even when going full tank runes/items an adc has more hp then you do.

top lane same thing , brusiers/juggerenauts as tanky as tanks but get to build damage and be a threat

Alistar is the only good choice for a tank support tbh. Leona is just easily accessable for autofills. She is otherwise straight up terrible. Tahm doesn't really have a purpose now that mages are outclassing Assassins to an extreme degree :-/
