Gap closers absolutely destroy sol, sure you have your ult but that's sitting at an 80 second cooldown at rank 3. would it really be op if he had the ability to instantly stun with his Q? i don't think so
It's almost like that is his exploitable weakness: Close range assassins.
Shame people don't realize there's a difference between "weakness' and "exploitable weaknesses". It's not a bad design by any means, sol like illaoi has too much/obvious counterplay and thus will remain weak which apparently is balanced to people.
AND they are nerfing him on the PBE as we speak.
Q losing .5s on the stun
Ult losing 20% on the slow AND 50% on its duration
Unless they really buff his "Zone" he is a dead champ
