PSA Regarding Nerfing Champions

I'll try to keep this as simple as possible for all of you while I explain the subject clearly. Stop screaming for nerfs on the boards after you do poorly in lane against a certain champion. See, Riot will never listen to those of you who post like this. There are a couple reasons why these posts will never work. First off, it's highly unlikely that Riot will even click on a post that is screaming in all caps rage "NERF SONA EARLY GAME DMG NOW RITO PLZZZ!!!!!!!!". It's just a huge turn off just by looking at the title. By looking at the title, the viewer is going to immediately assume that the content is of similar all caps rage, and similarly does not provide any clear and linearly thought out explanations to their argument. Second, the larger reason why Riot doesn't listen to half the posts about nerfs on this board because they're the MAKER AND MANAGER OF THE GAME. Do we all understand this together? They made the game for all of us. Now that does not mean because the game was made for us, the community, that Riot has to listen to every beck and whine as the "manager" of the game. They are 100% independent of the communities suggestions, however that doesn't mean they don't listen to the community. (They obviously have in the past, for example even the champions Ekko and Jhin were both community inspired) Anyway moving on to the third reason why half these posts are pointless. The third reason is that Riot wants to create a mentality and the attitude of counter play, NOT a mentality of nerfing champions that are in the S-tier. For obvious reasons if you nerf the entire S-tier then another S-tier just emerges right away and you have the same problem lol. For other reasons, Riot wants counter play in the game, if there was no counter play this game would look like DotA 2 xD. Counter play improves the individuals play and will in the end result in your becoming a more optimistic player when encountering difficult circumstances and not pessimistic and having the popular "NERF THIS CHAMP RITO" reaction. Anyway moving forward when Riot buffs certain champions, or nerfs others there is always a reason. They control the meta, if they want Graves for example to be in the S-tier then Graves will be in the S-tier lol. There is always reasons behind their actions guys, if he (Graves) needs a nerf for a specific reason, then Riot will apply the given nerf (Graves received a Q damage nerf on PBE). Lastly I just want to say when posting about nerfing a champion please consider the following and include the following:

  1. If you just lost badly to a Zed for example, check the players op.gg, is he a Zed main? Well if he is then maybe we shouldn't all caps rage about Zed nerfs on the boards.
  2. Does the champion you want nerfed have very viable counter play?
  3. You need to accumulate data about the champion from all elo's. You cannot just provide data about your personal history against certain champions or statistics about a champion in just one elo group.
  4. Explain your argument clearly with logic that flows from point to point.
  5. Be patient, nerfs take a while to develop. There's a lot of consideration and thought that goes into making said nerfs.
  6. Sometimes nerfs won't go through even to S-tier champions, but those champions go un-nerfed for reasons.

Riot I know you can do a better PSA on this subject so please comment or post about it yourself :)

mfw you think it's ok that a game developer pushes the meta around forcefully at their whim
