Never Lose Another Game!

Yeah, right. There's no one trick to make sure I NEVER lose a game again. With all the feeders, trolls, inters, and just idiotic teammates...right?

Wrong

Remember the last game you lost? Think back to that game, but I want you to pretend every one of your teammates is a bot, one that cannot speak or understand you. The bot does one thing, respond to enemy moves. You, are the one human on your team. Don't say, "We lost because my jungler ______." What did YOU do, that resulted in a death or lost objective? This is the first step to never losing another game. Only look at your mistakes. You cannot correct anyone else's f**ck ups. Wasting time obsessing on your bad team will not lead you to the nexus.

Consider this, what if the secret to never losing is always walking away with a lesson learned? Even if the enemy team destroys your nexus, you didn't "lose" you simply dropped a little LP, and maybe an elo or division in the worst case. But hey, that LP is an investment. If you feel you've gotten nothing in exchange for that lost LP, that's when you begin to tilt.

Every defeat is a chance to learn. What costed you the LP? Was it a baron throw due to poor vision on the enemy team? Was it bad positioning in lane that costed you a couple early trades? Were you ganked often and not warding or playing to the side of vision? Did you over stay in a team fight that you had already won? These things you can improve on, even if you are in a 1v5. Every death, every lost trade, every lost objective all adds up to you improving.

Tilting. Dear God the f**king tilt. When you tilt, it's game over. You will lose the game if you tilt.

Why?

Simple. Because you're too busy flaming your team, blaming your team, calling your enemy laner broken, arguing with the enemy team. While you're busy doing all these things, you're throwing the game. Every second you spend in a bush saying things like:

  • "Play a champion that takes skill."

  • "Would you like a tent Shaco?

  • "God my team is s**t"

You are giving the enemy more time to get ahead, not thinking of how to win, but instead assuming the game is already lost. Very rarely is a game decided by ONE fed teammate or enemy unless you're in low elo. Once a mistake is made in a match, it is made. You cannot rewind and fix it so use the time you could spend flaming and blaming the game instead on correcting and playing around that error. Be productive.

Think of how you feel after you make a mistake in game. Perhaps come in late on a gank, costing you an easy kill, or when you forget to ping MIA as your laner roams costing your team two deaths. It doesn't feel very good, and you likely feel a bit down on yourself or even guilty. Does your flaming team make you feel better? If they flame you odds are you feel worse, and play worse for it. If you make a mistake though, and the teammate you let down says, "All good, mistakes happen. we got this." It pumps you back up. Be that guy for your team.

At the end of the day, League is a team game. And we all rely on eachother. Even if you feel you dont, if those 4 other people weren't there, you'd lose 100% of your games. Be polite, make your team feel like a team. If you've ever played a sport you likely understand how difficult it can be to work with a teammate who says and does nothing. Even worse if that teammate gives up 5:00 into the game. Only in sports, people know they win as a unit. You have to pick up the dead weight and push on to victory. In league, you are only as strong as the weakest part of your team. Encourage those bots you get queued with, focus on improving YOUR lane, don't waste time b*tching in all chat, and LEARN.

If you do these things, you will never really lose. And all the LP you fall is invested towards the climb. I hope you all climb and really improve. Your elo is all about your mindset, and the correct mindset?

"I can do better."

Or maybe you're playing in LAN and happened to, randomly, get 10 afk or dc'ed players, along with an extra 5 players having 500-1000 constant ping all game -- and being very obvious about it too -- all of it within 2 days of playing, which means you lost 15 games to outside factors; and the only games you won were really hard games being taken to late where you had to fight tooth and nail to pull through a win because your team simply refused to let themselves be carried in peace, and also the 2 games where the afk or dc'ed player was in the enemy team

Surely this learning from your mistakes bullshit is pretty useful until you get that one game where you destroyed your lane as support Blitz and your snowballing ADC just happened to dc at mid game, and never came back, or your top or mid dc'd late game and never came back either, and then you repeat it 6 times in a single day, and damn right you sure got some learning experience off these losses :^)

Or you just happened to be playing in any region in the entire world, and did something considered off-meta at whatever rank you were playing, and enjoyed your % of games that were lost no matter what you did, because one of your teammates tilted because you did something off-meta, so he said "Lol nice build/pick/keystone, I'm done, I'll troll" and he got away with it scot-free because Riot only bans people that use the chat

Don't say a 100% winrate is possible. You can "win" something out of the wasted LP and time even if your nexus got destroyed, but that doesn't mean you have a 100% winrate
