Finally made it into silver 4 after a day of grinding, because of throwing team mates. The first game I play as a new s4 I get a fucking top lane vayne, fine ok, but then both our mid laner AND top laner rage quit and leave the game. Like literally someone get me out of this fucking elo...
moonborn3 votesthere are no diamond people stuck in silver. but there are diamond people stuck in higher platinum. if you are silver 4, then maybe you can go to gold, but from what you write i also believe you have a very tilting attitude. there is of course nothing you can do if there are 2 afks or most likely even 1 afk in your team. but you accept it and go into another game. if you are that good as you say, then you have only 4 random people in your team, while their team has 5. so statistically you should be winning 6 out of 10 games and slowly carrying yourself out of that "gay ass elo"

I got like 4 of my friends out of Bronze and Silver by duoing on them with smurfs. Both the smurfs are over gold now and my friends are no lower than Silver III.
If anything, (Silver MMR) Ranked takes time and patience more than skill.

Please stop making rage threads and go learn how to play better, maybe read some guides on laning and teamwork. That will get you out of your well-earned ELO better than playing high-skill champs with a 25% winrate and blaming your team when you get destroyed in lane.

I actually think it improves a lot around mid gold. I almost never get AFKs, trolls, or feeders. When my smurf was in silver, I remember playing a lot of frustrating games in silver.
My smurf got to Gold V and I am not having as many frustrating games as when I was in Silver.

I.E. you could be Rank 1, but if there is a jax that is on the enemy team with 10 kills at 10 min, you fucking lost. Period.

Iceember1 votesSo you just did the exact same thing to me as I did to you. You pointed out 3 games. How about the rest of the games in between where you have a 1.0 KDR? Or the fact that you have a 45% win ratio. (Keep in mind you need a 50% to be climbing)
NoRunesMasteries1 votesNot necessarily having above 50% or positive always state you will be climbing. From where I heard it's 55% or more but the point is. I've seen players go from 30% and climb up still from Bronze to Silver + and they had a negative yet increased over time.
Some players at times get bad games or a bad team comp and or possibly at times players who aren't really in the elo and the ranked system is still determining their ranks; elo-boosted accounts, people who ranked into a rank but aren't that rank so they fault down, etcs.
Iceember1 votesActually with the way the LP system works ~20-25 per win and ~16-20 per loss means you can have an exact Winrate of 50% and still climb in elo. It's slow as heck but you'll climb. My main reasoning from my first point is a counter to the OPs statement that he crushes his lane opponent in every single game no matter what. I first pointed out examples he didn't crush then ones where he did pretty decent.
Bad comps and bad games do happen and I'm not denying that they don't happen but sitting there blaming every single loss on your teammates is just not feasible as for you to have lost there must have been something you could have done. Especially after crushing your lane opponent.
I clearly understand the issues of dynamic Q and why many higher elo players feel frustrated with it but High Bronze to Low silver comparatively contain players of nearly the same skill level. There are maybe a few discrepancies but nothing as massive as the skill gap between D5 and D1.
All in all I'm just saying that the OPs attitude and reluctance to learn is the reason why he is low silver and not diamond as he claims he should be...
NoRunesMasteries1 votesI do agree with you entirely with how the OPs attitude and other means leads to him being where he is on the MMR scale or ELO placement however the LP system doesn't necessarily work that way. God I wished it did. I have friends who have 55% win rate and yet they're gaining 19LP per say.
I mean there are some Diamonds who with positive above 50% win rate only gain around 9LP or 10+LP. Correct me if I am wrong but I do believe the LP system works entirely differently and the reason the OP doesn't gain much is because he's probably not in the ELO he is placed in, simply meaning he is slowly decaying to where he should be.

so technically you can't flame the 28.4% (bronze elo can play with silvers; vice versa) + 3.75% (your elo) + 22.64% (gold elo can play with silvers; vice versa but it's here and there so this is like a variable) = the sum of the total percentage
you then multiply that by roughly 32,000,000 gamers out there who are in the range of Bronze < Silver < Gold ranks and volia!
So you can't blame everyone and except everyone to be challenger cause frankly my buddy it's legit one in .02% players are challenger.
