Can we talk about Vayne?

Vayne.

Vayne's a champion that many people love, and many people despise.

I've always seemed to be neutral with how I felt about this ADC, but with the new runes, she's automatically my top permaban in games right now.

Precision's Press The Attack combined with Vayne's W + Q empowered on the third auto for both stacks is absolutely disgusting.

There really shouldn't be a reason why Vayne is allowed to 1-5 shot entire teams with the new runes.

I don't typically complain about champion balance, but the changes to the runes just broke the champion harder than what I've seen in the past 3 years I've been playing.

Other ADC's are quite strong and benefiting from this specific keystone (I've seen lots of Jhin's with PTA which seems to work with third auto PTA plus a huge 4th bullet after to add to the damage. I've even seen Ezreal rise to a pretty nice winrate from people taking this.) But Vayne just takes PTA's power way too far.

Yeah, overall I've had no problem with her. She's very distinct in her strengths and weaknesses. However with Press the Attack I got killed at lvl 2 100-0 with 4 autos. And then for the rest of the 18 minute game she walked around 3 shotting everyone on my team. Great game. High quality.(Now, it was my fault I died, I had NO idea her lvl 2 burst was that busted, else I would've been safe...but damn, that is pretty bad for the health of a champion.)

Im realy on the verge to stop playing untill runes get balanced out, there is nothing you can do as a top or jungle when the enemy team bot lane is fed especialy if its vayne or ezreal and if its your bot lane thats fed the game becomes 'let your adc carry and transform into a support for the rest of the game'

So a quick background check shows the last time you played Vayne was in an ARAM game about 8 months ago.

Perhaps you should follow the advice of, if it seems broken as hell, play them first and then form an opinion?

I've played two or three Vayne games on my PBE account just recently and gathered my thoughts on this. (Lusus Naturae on PBE)

Wait, isn't the PBE known for being a balance mess all the time because player skill is so varied there?

Also, quick search doesn't show it.

That account is on NA, not the PBE server

I believe Riot said something about them matching PBE matches with players of equal skill together (Haven't had anyone above gold on their mains in my games, so I'd assume that's how it goes)

Well I can't check that for lack of a PBE account. So, now I've got just your word to work on.

To my understanding, because players don't play for rank or skill on PBE, as well as the fact that the PBE population is a tiny fraction of the League population, this throws huuuuuuuuuuge variables and volatility into any given match. Given that Riot's matchmaking system still screws up with as big as a population as League's general population, I really don't trust your word that somehow, they've got it fine and dandy in a naturally more volatile environment like the PBE.

Also just checked out some statistics so we can get more evidence into this conversation than anecdotes and hearsay. ADC Vayne is an above average performer right now. Sure, that means she's strong, but definitely not over the top. Oh wait no, absolutely disgusting.

easy fix for vayne. make her w CURRENT HP why does someone who scales with attack speed have a MAX HP onhit...

Because her kit's only function is auto attacking and dueling, and thus she needs tools to auto attack and duel better than other champions lest be completely irrelevant.

That's like asking why an ADC has a 3 second Stun or a ridiculous range on top of a knock back and a free targeted jump. The answer is stop focusing on JUST the strengths of a champion and figure out the context behind it.

People say Adc needs peel but they got a lot of peel as well.
