Cannot Connect to Game

I've been having an incredibly hard time connecting to the game ever since the launch of the new loading screen. I either connect with everyone else, I connect 1-3 minutes late, or I get remaked.

The odd times I connect late, my game performance is affected with high fps drops (I have an average of 100-120, why do my frames drop to 4 whenever I get anywhere near an enemy champion with the new patch?).

My loading screen doesn't freeze, it just doesn't allow me to connect to the game at the same time as everyone else. The loading circle in the top left corner is spinning at all times, though my ping number is having a seizure.

Please fix this. I'd like to play the game.
