When I first played my main 
I HATED her. It wasn't until I got a free skin from the free riot mystery chest like a year ago that I played her a bit and started to do really good with her. Than I started to take her mid and realized she was busted AF with items.
ReshiKillim1 votesI started playing Shaco back at the end of S2 (Not that I really have a main, as I go with one out of five champs usually.) after tilting due to flashing over a wall to escape from him and right into a box which killed me. Immediately after that match, I bought Shaco and became completely determined to make someone else have that tilting experience.
And before I knew it, I had become addicted to playing Shaco.
A Liberal1 votesYeah, to say I main anyone is a stretch, I also have a pretty large pool but mostly it is morg, Cass, bard, and Kat. Morg is the only one that I have a story about though, the rest I was just kind of like oh they look cool. OH THEY ARE COOL.

I had issues dealing with Nasus was I was newer and unskilled. I generally had a passive play-style so I wasn't really experienced enough with aggressive play to deny him approriately.
I decided to play Nasus to see how people played against me and to learn how he worked only to find that he suited my play-style very well and I loved his character.

(In reality I was tilted of being unable to carry Games in the lategame with my early junglers, so I decided to switch to mid and the golden chicken to own everybody in the late ^^)
Weapon of Vanity1 votesStarting league end of season 4 - season 5 , i kinda had no knowledge of the champions or the game in general... trying to figure out what kind of player i would want to be or where i fit ( top..supp..jg etc) i picked up poppy before the rework and she WAS HORRIBLE. but i still played her.. then she got re-worked and i started to play her and shes my gold
Vesarixx1 votesWhen I first played I picked up Soraka after hearing how much people disliked supporting, so I could see what the problem was with the role that made people avoid it, had someone in a youtube comment suggest I try out Sona, been one of my favorite champions ever since. Ahri just looked cool so I saved up some IP before hitting 30 to get her, and Quinn I picked up after seeing a coaching session with a player using her and figuring I could do better with the champion(pre-rework), first game with her I went 26/0/6 in the top lane, still didn't get an S+ somehow.
