So lets talk about Guinsoo's Rageblade

So. item 3124 Guinsoo's Rageblade. Have you seen one of these lately? Or, probably a better question, have you been absolutely destroyed by a Jax Jax, a Tryndamere Tryndamere, or a MasterYi Master Yi lately? Yes? Then you have probably seen Guinsoo's Rageblade.

For those who don't know what it does, item 3124 Guinsoo's Rageblade is a hybrid item, giving 30 AD and 40 AP, and it adds 3 AD and 4 AP , as well as increase your attack speed by 8% for 5 seconds for every stack you get on the item. How do you get stacks, you wonder? You go up to someone, and smack them. That is it. It can hold up to 8 stacks, which might sound like quite a few hits, but you get two stacks if you are melee, and so getting all eight stacks, which increases your AD by 24, and your AP by 32, as well as your attack speed by 64%. 64%! That is more than a item 3094 Rapid Firecannon and a item 3087 Statikk Shiv put together. AND item 3124 GUINSOO'S RAGEBLADE ONLY COSTS 2800 GOLD! Also, when you get to 8 stacks, you get a passive that is similar to the item 3074 Ravenous Hydra's Cleave passive. It is pretty nice for wave clear, and useful for teamfights, but it honestly, it does 20 + 15% of bonus ad and 7.5% of AP, so it is just a little chip damage at best.

Now, it is time for the reason I made this thread. This single item can make Jax Jax an absolute beast. He goes from a pretty strong fighterthat can do well against AA heavy fighters, to someone who can 1v2 with ease. item 3124 Guinsoo's Rageblade is the real weapon Jax was talking about. So far, all I have done was complain, but now, it is time to brainstorm some ideas for making item 3124 Guisoo's Rageblade into Guinsoo's NotSoRageEnducingBlade. Honestly, I do quite like the passive Guinsoo's Rage, which makes the Hydra effect I talked about. That seems like a pretty nice creep clear, good for waves and monster camps. However, the bonus attack speed is what I think makes it so strong. A bonus 64% AS increase on suck a cheap item, along with the bonus AD and AP that comes along with it makes item 3124 Guinsoo's Rageblade an item worthy of a nerf. If the attack speed is removed, then you still get a total of 54 AD, 72 AP, and a great wave clear tool, for only 2800. If item 3124 Guinsoo's Rageblade seems a bit weak without any attack speed, then maybe have it so that Guinsoo's Rage grants some attack speed at well. Maybe something more balanced like 20%. Just not the 64% AS monster that it is now. So, now, what do you think about the Rageblade? Is there a different way to nerf its power without making it useless? I want to hear brainstorming.

so getting all eight stacks, which increases your AD by 24, and your AP by 32, as well as your attack speed by 64%. **64%! ** **That is more than a Rapid Firecannon and a Phantom Dancer put together. **

30% + 45% = 75% > 64%

Uhhh...

make the stacks grant one third as many stats as they currently do, but remove the stack cap.

4 attacks to full stack rageblade is nothing. it should be more like 24 to get the stats it currently has at 8 (taking 12 attacks on a melee champ instead of 4), but it should have no cap-- if you can keep stacking it, you should be able to.

the aoe should turn on at 8 stacks the same way it does now, to clear out minions quickly and make it more difficult to just build a lot of stacks on a minion wave one minion at a time and then leap on the enemy laner, since they will just die from the aoe before you can stack it up too high.

I think its a great item but i feel its too strong to early in the match. Why not have it built out of other thing's to increase the cost like needless, b.f. and recurve and a combine cost this way it fits the item but makes it more of a late game item.
