Jhin seems Underwhelming
Don't get me wrong. I love the design aspect of Jhin, no question there. But his gameplay and impact is pretty bad.
His early game is pretty bad compared to other adcs since he has four shots with low speed, and his abilities aren't good for skirmishing. The grenade is pretty unreliable for early harass. The traps are nice, but when they trigger the opponent can just walk out before they blow. He loses out to pretty much any form of harass in lane, and if you dive and don't kill his reload says GG.
Even late game his impact isn't as great as other ADCs. He brings nothing to team fights. The traps maybe, but the whole point is so that no one sees you plant them. He also has no escape unlike the more popular carries.
His ultimate ended up being worse than I thought it would be. The range, while long, isn't long enough. Also the cone effect just hurts him, any competent player will just walk to the side.
I'll say it again, the four shot thing (while nice and flavorful) is honestly his undoing.
