Does Courage of the Colossus work on ekko?

Hey guys I am an ekko main and I haven't had much time to play recently but I am curious if the new mastery "courage of the colossus" procs whenever you hit an enemy with your Q. I know riot did away with tank ekko and really pushed him to be used as a AP Assassin. It says "Hard CC" is that limited to Stuns and Roots? or does slows count as well? If so I think combined with his W shield would be a nasty combo in fights.

Hard CC only counts things that take away champ control likr stuns roots and displacements.

Only the W stun will proc the shield.

Slows ARE soft CC. So Ekko's Q cannot proc it.

Thanks guys. I figured as much but I was kinda hopeful. Would be kinda broken in a sense.
