Riot this is really ridiculous please read

Now this is a bit of a rant but listen to my point.

We have gradually been moving towards universally ADC champ meta. But I'm sick and tired of it. Why is it that whenever top/jg pick Graves or an ADC regardless of what we need in terms of team comp, it's A-OK but if I'm support I can't pick the champs I want to play? I have a fairly good win rate with Zilean support but every time I pick him I have to go on a fucking rant and provide 5 references and a source to get the OK from my teammates (even if it works with the comp and counters opponent).

As a support main of course I'm furious. We already deal with a lot of pissant ADC's who go in/die/immediately go "support blah blah blah." I can't play Bard or my ADC will feed. I swear to god I'm just gonna start picking exclusively Lee and Illaoi support. Why the hell is this socially accepted and no one bats an eye but a support picks SLIGHTLY unconventional and it's fucking end of the world? If I'm first pick, I first pick Nami or Bard why does my team (who don't hover any champ or say what they are playing) start bitching at me for picking something that hurts our comp when everyone else who's last pick picks ADC's? No wonder no one wants to play support. You can carry with support, let's not kid ourselves. Supports are better than ever but it's like being treated like 2nd rate citizens.
