It's not URF you guys are hating; it's the players

Honestly, it's not URF mode that's bad. It's the community. In complete opposite to the complaints of Dyn Q which was the mode/infrastructure being flawed rather than players being at fault. I know you can say don't hate the player hate the game right? But you can't really say that when the mode has a lot of potential to be fun but everyone picks Ekko, Graves, Jayce, other toxic champs. I mean I'm fine; I still find fun even when I'm getting ass whooped. There are plenty of people like that and judging from the amount of complaint threads vs the "bring back URF" threads, I'd say the bring back is still winning by a mile.

Again, it's the players that suck. I mean WE ALL KNOW we have one of the worst community as a whole yet we act surprised. A person who insta locks toxic champs every URF mode is a tool we get it; just play the game. We just got Riot to finally bring it back after a while and you guys are going to ruin everything.

Yeah, everybody that beats me just sucks. It's so stupid that they can play whatever they want or think is fun. This community is awful.

To an extent I can agree with you. It really is the players fault. But then again you have to blame riot. I see a lot of complaints about certain champions and one would assume that Riot had over a year to try and fix these problem yet lo and behold it's still there! Both Riot and the community needs to take blame on this!

But I will agree. I have been enjoying my time with URF. Even when losing badly I'm having fun. As long as others aren't harassing other players, or just being overall negative in the chat I'm fine! It's all in good fun and a good joke mode. People just take things like this too seriously and it's annoying for people who just want to have fun!

I mean you really shouldn't go into an URF game and expect to just destroy every single time, every other match you will probably get destroyed cause there are so many OP as fuck champs, that's the god damn point of it all!

The people constantly pissed about imbalance in a game more designed around being imbalanced are just stupid, what I find even more annoying are your teammates who give you shit when you don't pick one of the major OP picks cause you just want to have fun and try a bunch of different champs. Those asswtat children are what's ruining URF, you go in to have fun and they just constantly harass you for not picking the likes of Zed or Ekko....

People aren't lackluster on URF because they're losing a lot. Well... I'M not, at least.

I'm lackluster on it because I played the mode for all of a single day... maybe 5 or 6 matches... and it's already worn out it's fun. Same champs in every game. You're brutally raged at if you don't pick one of the "OP" champs, and there is little fun to be had. I wanted to pick fun crap and spam around, but I feel obligated to pick the champs who can deal with the OP crap being spammed in every match. I picked AP MF for funsies and not only did my team rage at me all game, but the enemy zed, ekko and Hecarim utterly curb stomped me without even TRYING. I'm not sure if I should be upset at my ragey team at all... they were right!

The reason I'm fine with URF going the hell away is exactly that. You're not allowed to have fun in it. Unless your idea of fun is spamming the OP champs of the mode... URF isn't for you. Now there are a ton of Zed/Ekko/Ezreal/etc "mains" out there who are probably enjoying themselves... but to all of the rest of us it's awful. These are champ that people are sick of facing NORMALLY and now they're dominating the "chill and have fun" game mode too. There aren't really many modes left for the people just playing to enjoy the game. ARAM? Maybe? ARAM accounts kinda trying their best to ruin that one too.

NO anyone who plays URF MODE to WIN will not have fun; the mode is to have fun and the purpose is not to win. If you try to win, you're not going to have fun. If you try to win, you're one of those tools who pick toxic champs that others complain about. If you try to win, you get salty over losing to OP champs.

I rememb er laughing uncontrollably from URF no matter who won because everyone tried to screw around. Everyone right now is just trying to win win win. I get the game is about winning but you see how this creates toxicity and complainers in the thread about a game mode that's not even competitive or balanced.

So basically this.

People pull the same shit in Nemesis and Ascension. You give the enemy what you think to be the shittiest champions in the game for Nemesis or go the most ultra assassin ever so you can killfast the killfastest anyone has ever killfasted in Ascension. The thing is, if you know how to actually play champions whose names don't start with Yasuo, these assholes are chumps. The only champion I played during Ascension was Lulu. Why? Because with a targeted reveal spell, what's basically a stun and all the other utility and offensive powers she has, she can shut those bastards down HARD, and nobody ever thinks about how they're going to stop an Ascendant. Just that they're going to be the Ascendant and hopefully stay that way forever.

People are tools in this game, and knowing how a tool works will make them chumps. If you see a Yi or Udyr and just throw your hands up and give in before the fight even starts, then you're playing right into their hands. Learn their weaknesses (they fucking have them) and learn how to play more than just Yasuo mid every game. Limiting your own perception and capabilities is just going to ruin your own experience, as well as that of others.
