Gangplank was once the strongest champion in game then riot nerfed every single thing he had until he was useless
Ehh, I could understand. Imagine if his numbers were actually good.
Long range poke with Q, easy trading and chasing potential with his W, his E allows that long range Q to lock onto targets and synergizes with the W's slow, his passive means it's quite easy to simply face tank duels, and his ult is one that can take you far away from safety on top of boosting his combat stats if he ever gets in a good position to use it.
He's gated right now from all of his numbers, range especially, sucking ass. But imagine if they were actually high.
