Please Riot show Jax some love

Contrary to popular belief Jax is actually trash late game. He has no form of pen in his kit so once carries get GA/Zhonya he can no longer 1 combo them. He can definitely be a distraction to the team but if he's being focus fired by 2 or 3 people he won't do much. "But isn't Jax a splitpushing god?" well sure until about 25 mins. He spikes hard as hell with 2 items and then gets sent down to Davy Jones after that. He no longer has the hp he needed to stay in the middle of a fight and skirmish since riot snatched 250 from him.

I think it's absolutely terrible that I have over 150 cs over the enemy malphite and am more useless than him. Same goes for poppy/naut/maokai/Darius etc. Those tanks who are picked in solo queue and competitive can literally just sit in front of Jax and laugh at his damage while they shit on him with their ridiculous base damage. His ult makes no sense he gets armor/mr for for a % of AD and AP. Jax build trinity force(25 Ad) and gunblade (40 AD and 80 AP) the gunblade is nice sure, but for a champion who's an attack speed demon, why should his ult give armor/mr based off of AD and AP. Why not do something about his attack speed and ult?

In the present game Jax has not one WINNING matchup. All his matchups are either skill based or he auto loses/gets outscaled. Would you believe me if I said Riven outscales Jax? Probably not but it's true, that should tell you the state that Jax is in. He no longer can carry games. He has no form of sustain in lane, which a fair amount of meta toplaners do. He doesn't win trades without his 16 sec counterstrike and has to forfeit lane pressure and cs while it's on cooldown.

he has a leap/gap closer, a dodge which negates damage which can stun... an empowered auto and an ult that gives him bonus damage and bonus resistance

jax is a farm/gold/item dependent champ. he is best vs auto attackers and extended fights...

Pretty much any site will tell you that Jax's chance to win increases the longer the game goes on.

God, Jax mains are some of the whiniest players in the game. Jax isn't even doing particularly poorly and they pretend that their champion is dog shit.

yeah he is trash, he gets outscaled by almost everybody. the problem is, if you even buff him a little bit, the people who actually know how to play jax can just 1v3 when they get lvl 9-11

I don't think Jax needs any buffs honestly I think he's in an extremely well balanced position currently. He has one of the highest win rates the longer the game goes but does have a weak laning phase to make it up. There's nothing wrong with that whatsoever. He also constantly hovers around a 50% win rate with a decent play rate while not exactly being the hardest champion to pick up.

If I understand your post correctly, you argue that Jax is weak because:

1 - he has no form of pen whatsoever - a lot of champions do not and do just fine. He doesn't need pen thanks to the fact that he does mix damage making it extremely difficult to itemize against him

2 - He spikes with 2 items and then he becomes useless - completely untrue infact there's all the data in the world to support that this isn't true. He also won't get blown up in a team fight considering you should really just be building triforce & gunblade then the rest should all be defensive.

3 - Jax is not an attack speed demon, he's an amazing duelist and a fighter that becomes stronger the longer he can stay in a fight. Combining Fervor his passive and his ultimate allows him to do just that and it's far better than if it was just a magic damage passive.
