You sir win the internet
Funny meme, but you know Riot would never go for it.
don't let your memes stay dreams
when your comment gets more likes then the actual post lool
If they are gonna have iron they could at least put it in the historically correct order...
Bronze Silver Gold is historically correct though when it comes down to tiering competitively in any sport though.
Bronze Iron Silver Gold makes zero sense
The rank system goes by rarity (rarity of player=rarity of the material), so Iron being at the bottom makes perfect sense.
Challenger is the rarest metal.
Wood's pretty plentiful. [poppy-wink]
Ya got me on that one. They just didn't want people to feel bad for being in wood, even though people will probably still call it "wood division" anyhow.
plastic 5.
Toilet Paper 4
Discarded tampon 7

plastic 5.
Yes, Plastic.
They could've at least made it sound like it fits in. Iron->Bronze sounds weird, wood was definitely Riot's comeback on winning back the fan base.
Iron is a stronger and more useful material over Bronze. What's going on at Riot HQ?
bronze is actually quite useful for many things, while iron isn't really used for anything anymore.

I guess steel, trains, housing appliances and cars aren't made from iron but bronze. http://minnesotairon.org/10-things-you-use-every-day-made-from-minnesota-iron/
calling steel iron is about the same as calling paper wood, sure its technically kind of true but eh

You need iron to smelt INTO steel...
Also just wow fella! That's some of thr most obvious multi account up voting I've seen in a while. :P
you also need wood to produce paper, also bitch please up / down votes mean jack shit who the fuck could bother with that.
a lot of shit is made out of shit different combinations of shit, coke consist of mostly water but you can't really say that coke is water / is made of water. if you said that iron is used to produce steel then yeah sure, but iron =/= steel.

Dude... earlier you posted and I quote "Iron isn't used for anything anymore." Where my point was it's used as a base for steel which is used A LOT.
And if no one cares about upvotes? Then why is your random, bronze better then iron post at like +7? :P
Actually u have that backwards. Bronze is not used any more. Iron is used MUCH more, what you are thinking of us copper that is used a lot. But bronze is one of the least used metals and/or metal alloys atm.
i mean to be perfectly honest i don't think straight iron is used for anything at all while bronze is still used for slidin pieces n pistons n shit
well "straight" Iron used used in making just about all the major alloys, you cant just through out all alloys that use Iron just cause its not named Iron. Iron is used WAY more than bronze. its a fact. there is no disputing it. There is probably more iron in the buildings of NY city than there is bronze used in the whole world.
iron is an element while bronze is an alloy, you can't compare something that's made of different elements to an element without restricting the element to being used as it is. this is like claiming that water is hydrogen because it consist of mostly hydrogen, i'm sure you can see why this is stupid.
No one is claiming Iron is anything but Iron, but you CAN NOT ignore the fact that IRON is used more than bronze. its not a matter of what it is used for, but quantity that is used.
Your arguing a mute point, you can not argue against that fact that more iron is used than bronze. Whether its in alloys, or iron castings, pure iron or mixed it is still USING iron. Really all your doing is proving how much more useful Iron is than bronze.
yeah fam when you are drinking water you are actually using oxygen and hydrogen rather than water.
[{quoted}](name=SociaI Justice,realm=EUNE,application-id=3ErqAdtq,discussion-id=EnZMAEHM,comment-id=00080000000100000000000000000001,timestamp=2018-09-21T12:33:10.343+0000)

When you come to the realization that your argument is pointless, so you say something even more pointless. [slayer-jinx-wink]
when your argument is that hydrogen is the most consumed thing by humans and you don't realize its dumb as fuck.

Certain iron alloys are still called "iron". Iron can be pig iron, cast iron etc...
Because I could say similar about Silver, Gold, Platinum ... rarely used in pure form, but the alloy is still called silver, gold, etc...
It goes by rarity, not strength. Is gold stronger than bronze? Iron is more common than Bronze, because bronze is made from copper. Ever turn both of those in at a scrap yard? Guess which one you get more money for, it isn't iron...
nor is it bronze, lol. you are thinking of copper. Matter of a fact most scrap yards do not even have prices for/buy bronze, as its very rare to have as scrap. As it is mostly used as platting (Think cooking utensils and pots/pans).
Bronze is 80 percent copper. It maybe rare to turn it in since its not used in a bulk form, (because copper is frikin' expensive again proving my point), but I can guarantee they'd give you more money for it than Iron, so again, the system makes sense as is.
People are just either confused because they've come to associate bronze with being the lowest from all the various ranked systems that have it at the bottom (or the fact that its the lowest medal in sports), or they are just mad because RIot killed the "wood division" meme for obvious reasons and are lashing out by grasping at straws and arguing over semantics that don't even make sense in when taking in proper context.
i support "wood" or "toilet" tier.
Funfact: Iron is actually more advanced than Bronze
[{quoted}](name=Need Gold 4 Tent,realm=NA,application-id=3ErqAdtq,discussion-id=EnZMAEHM,comment-id=002c,timestamp=2018-12-02T08:51:26.338+0000)
Funfact: Iron is actually more advanced than Bronze
How true that is...
They said that the reason they did that was because they were afraid of people using wood tier as an insult. I guess that's reasonable since people have been using it as an insult for a while now even though its not even a thing. Tbh though, i don't think it will take very long before people start using iron division as an insult.
Let them split Bronze, into Copper and Tin. Tin is a soft, pliable, relatively common and inexpensive metal, entirely appropriate for the lowest division. Besides, think of the Tin Man.
I figured it out. Iron Pyrite is "Fool's Gold".
Iron SOUNDS way too cool to properly denote the lowest division. There should be an appropriate term that isn't too denigrating. Granite and Flint were suggested...
Should've been 2 tiers actually, and they should match Master and Challenger.
They would be called "Muster" and "Challenged", with the latter being at the bottom.
WE HAVE BEEN BEGGING FOR "WOOD" FOR AN ETERNITY RIOT
WTF?!?!?!?
I'll do you one better, they aren't adding or removing ranks at all just renaming them see below Challenger | Challenger Master | Grandmaster Diamond 1 | Master Diamond 2 | Diamond 1 Diamond 3 | Diamond 2 Diamond 4 | Diamond 3 Diamond 5 | Diamond 4 Plat 1 | Plat 1 Plat 2 | Plat 2 Plat 3 | Plat 3 Plat 4 | Plat 4 Plat 5 | Gold 1 Gold 1 | Gold 2 Gold 2 | Gold 3 Gold 3 | Gold 4 Gold 4 | Silver 1 Gold 5 | Silver 2 Silver 1 | Silver 3 Silver 2 | Silver 4 Silver 3 | Bronze 1 Silver 4 | Bronze 2 Silver 5 | Bronze 3 Bronze 1 | Bronze 4 Bronze 2 | Iron 1 Bronze 3 | Iron 2 Bronze 4 | Iron 3 Bronze 5 | Iron 4
I think they intentionally did so in order not to make the unfortunate lower tier players to be mocked as Wood 5 meme.
I wouldn't have used iron though, maybe copper would have been a better choice.
Below wood tier can we have mdf tier?
