Can someone explain to me the advantages and disadvantages of being on Purple/Blue side?

I've recently been hearing alot of people talking about the purple vs blue advantages but they never seem to be all that impactful besides depending on where the jungler goes on their clears.

Other then that I've never seen a massive difference. Well there was the thing where at bot you saw less of the screen but that's gone now. The only other thing that comes to mind is that blue side bot and purple side top are more easier to gank because of the tri bushes but people seem to be having some strategical edge that I don't know about and now my curiosity is peaked.

So besides Jungle clears and tri bush ganking what's the biggest deal about having the different sides?
