I swear League players have some of the worst memories in history.

When discussing champions such as Yasuo or Azir or Lucian I die a little on the inside when people go "these champs fkin op since day 1 I h8 them remove pls".

Do people remember how TERRIBLE all three of these champs were considered at release? All 3 got a multitude of buffs before they started seeing play, and Lucian in particular was considered absolute shit tier for the longest time. I'm tired of people saying that champs were OP at release when they hardly saw play (yes, Yasuo saw play but his winrate was absolute trash around 42%, and Azir was BELOW 40%). Lucian was buffed many, MANY times before he saw play, and even then he was seen as inferior to Draven for a while.

So next time you're about to go off about how Riot releases only op af champs and how every single one has been overpowered, remember to do your research.

Thank you

Azir especially was considered unplayable at launch, despite what a cool champion he is.

Azir didn't really need buffs he needed bug fixes. I played a lot of Azir at his launch and when he worked correctly you could tell he was going to be broken.

lucian was amazing before his double tap nerf. then he became mediocre, and now outclassed by jinx corki sivir and ashe.

KONO RUBICK DA2 votes

his passive needed a nerf, but riot nerfed all his kit before

I could have swore Azir was only considered unplayable because he basically did not function due to the amount of bugs he had. It wasn't even possible to hold an opinion on his balance because you couldn't go a single game without his bugs screwing him over one way or the other.

Yasuo was harder for scrubs to pick up. He always had the potential.

Then he became godlike and got 1/2 his kit gimped.
