Can people please pay attention during champ select?

You are playing League, not checking facebook.

Champ select is a critical part of the game that often decides the match before the game even starts!

Example...

I am given top lane and first pick.

I message the last pick (support) asking them to pick my top for me so I can counter. It goes something like this.

Me: Hey (insert summoner name here) can you last pick for me? I don't want to be countered.

Them:

Me: You there?

Them:

When it comes to them they dodge....

BUT RITO I WASN'T PAYING ATTENTION AND I DODGED DURING MY SERIES!!!

TL;DR - There are enough dodges as is. Please pay attention and coordinate with your team during champ select.

I agree, just pay attention to it instead of playing on your phone
