I main top and sometimes jg if need be but i don't really have any idea about the other lanes and what champions would be good for someone who rarely goes mid/adc/support.

My champ pool

Top- Jax, Gnar, Shen Jg- Amumu, Lee, Kindred Mid- Yasuo and Fizz Adc- Tristana and Kalista Support- Shen

I can hold my own and farm up with Tristana so i think i should be ok there and Mid i end up with Yasuo which im comfortable with if he isnt't banned. I think i might need a little more diversity though, any thoughts?

Bard (SUP) is so fun and my main! He's a bit complicated at first, but he's such a fun champ to me. He can travel fast and his Meeps have a never ending stack that can pack one hell of a punch.

Lux (MID) is great because against champions like Yasuo, Ahri, or Ekko, her E can manipulate the enemies farming.

If you're okay with trying more (ADC), Miss Fortune's new Love Tap passive is fun to use, and her rainy shower of deathly bullets are fun to poke with. Her ult sweeps up those kills when she's got enough damage built up too.

If your goal is just to expand your champion pool to be able to fill those roles when you need to I highly recommend the following:

Mid: Annie, Vlad. Annie is an easy champ to pick up that can still make a significant impact while vlad will be really safe and will never lose the lane if played defensively.

ADC: Caitlyn, Miss Fortune. Miss Fortune is at a pretty strong spot right now while Caitlyn has always been a lane bully. Lay down a whole bunch of those traps between you and the enemy and you'll dissuade them from jumping on you.

Support: Nami, Lulu. I would recommend champions that don't put you in the fray as you never know what kind of adc you're gonna be matched with. Both of these have excellent peels and will make sure you make it through the laning phase while remaining impactful late game.

These are the basic kind of no fail champions that you should be able to pick up easily. Others might be able to do more but will require more practice to learn and they can easily go south during the laning phase which can cost you the game.
