ARURF "Balanced champion selection"

Riots dumb reason to make it all random was to get rid of seeing the same 20 champions in every game, well so far that hasn't worked because people will make accounts that only have the 20 champions riot deemed as "OP" so they can only get anyone of those OP champions. Best way to fix this Riot if you even care about the people that play your game modes. 2 ways, add bans then the random pick so we can screw over those low champion pool accounts OR make it so in ARURF we have every champion as another way to screw over those low champion pool accounts. so far i have seen more than i would like too because his spin still drops you like no other.

Realistically, how many people do you think actually makes an entirely new account and levels it up to 30 only to play ARURF for a couple of days a year? You're gonna see a ton of Garens because every player owns Garen, more or less.

Nobody is going to make a new acc just for URF that we play like once a year.

Stop being so paranoid. Im pretty sure 99% of players own Garen so youll see him a lot.

I actually like that they made it ARURF. I don't mind seeing the OP champs and was, quite frankly, annoyed that with URF I had no choice but to play them or suffer from not playing them. Now, while you can sometimes get screwed, generally speaking the randomness makes it much more tolerable. I do believe unlocking all champs would be a perfect solution to OPs problem, though, and I see no real negative to it. It's supposed to be a fun game mode, played to mix up the regular grind on Summoner's Rift. I don't pay ARURF to be competitive, or to push the limits of my skill; I play it to goof off and see all sorts of shenanigans.

All random still is the better option.

The issue (just like ARAM) is that it isn't truly all random. Still, I'd rather see one-to-three strong champs a game rather than the exact same 20 champions even with a ban phase.

Instead of seeing 10 of the top champs in the game you only see 3-5 while everyone else is cannon fodder lol

I made a post about this a couple of weeks ago...when you can pick your own champion, you can fight op champions with more op champions. On the other hand, in all random, you can be playing a kalista + aatrox into a zed + sona lane. I would say I can decide the winner of an AR URF game around 90% of the time just looking at the loading screen. Also, there are VERY few close games. The only close games I have played were when I had Nasus or Jax(4-5 games total) and I just scaled to late game and solo-carried.

It is more likely due to rerolls and dodges, which together make it possible to get those champions in your team almost every game.

Imho (if they do not want to get rid of rerolls or don't want to change dodging so that it does not change your champion), this could be countered by using tiers like in the Pokemon games: divide champions by strength, then have the RNG choose a tier before starting to randomly assign champions within that tier.

I know everyone has garen, but some people do have accounts for the purpose of having the most OP characters in ARAM because those champions are also OP in URF. champs i have also seen too much of, Zed MasterYi Jax Fiora , i have seen these champs or a mix of them in almost all of my games, sometimes on my side or someone i know has seen these champs more than they would want to. If you were forced to have a RNG roll between all the champions this will be less of an issue. Being forced to have all champions in ARURF would be a good choice.

I totally agree OP, I am one of those people who have made an ARAM only account, because some champs are pure garbage in aram. And that account fits URF perfectly. Constantly seeing Garen, Jax, Yi and Fiora because people buy those champs specifically for URF is stupid. Just unlock every champ for everyone, or give each team 5 bans, simple as that.

Riot made this game for us to enjoy it. So, I can't understand why they made URF and then change it to All Random? Whatever when I see always Zed. I want to play Jhin ,Twitch or Ekko... not Dr. Mundo, Kayle etc. I don't want to play tons of games and only in 5% of them to get the champion which I want... ohh I forgot if someone dodge then you will get stupid champions again... Why Riot don't want to have fun?
