Rek'Sai is just better a version of Nocturne at this point.

Finally actually played this champion for once.

At this point there is no reason why Nocturne should exist, she has a better clear, she can sense enemy units with her tremor sense. Her CC is a hard CC not a weak CC like Nocts. Her pre-6 ganks are really strong. She's easy to play doesn't require a lot of skill. Build path is wide open if you're really fed you can build all AD like Noct but her E does true damage with fully fury. Her tunnels makes her a monster in split push situations considering your ult gives on the way ping like real lol.

Nocturne is my favorite jungler from season 3 but he feels god awful compared to Rek'Sai.

TDLR; Rework Nocturne because Rek'Sai is just a better version.

I didn't know Rek'Sai had a spell shield.

I used to main Nocturne and him and Rek'Sai are very different. Nocturne has a ton more sticking power with his Q and E, plus item 3153 item 3142 and item 3078 , which he should have at least one of the 3 late game. Nocturne also has a lot more dueling potential because his fear and bonus damage on Q. Plus, Nocturne has a spell shield. And his ultimate require enemy of an enemy champion in its range, rather than a tunnel. Those are HUGELY different concepts. One is for assassinations or initiates, the other is for flanking, escaping, and getting to objectives.

Honestly if I had to compare Rek'Sai to be a "better version" of anything it'd be Pantheon, but he still is miles different. In fact, I'd say Rek'Sai is pretty damn unique.

Actually, with her recent damage nerfs, I have to disagree. Maybe once, but not anymore. Noc is a much stronger assassin now.

That being said, I agree that noc needs some work on his kit.

I think it would be cool if they just made nocs Q allow him to move through walls like it use to... Global ulti again would be neat too ^^.

if you haven't noticed half the new champions that aren't season 1/pre season 2 are just better versions of old champions. Nami = sona 2.0 Graves = MF 2.0 (before lane bully MF was gutted) Lucian is basically if MF could move while ulting Gnar is basically vayne with renekton+shyvana ult lol Kallista is ashe 2.0 if ashe had a real passive lol Ahri is basically if old karma had an ult that gave flashes (Q self heals+having 3 dashes would've probably made old karma just as retarded as an ahri if you think about it.. its still a big stretch though)

I agree with you that Noct needs a little love, which is why I'm posting. Needs visibility. But I disagree that Rek can do EVERYTHING Noct can. It's just that Noct's unique aspects aren't emphasized very well.

Giving him small vision denial on a single target with Duskbringer or something like that would go a long way to making him feel unique. I agree that he needs work, and I'm be VERY surprised to hear that there weren't any Rioters who are aware of that.

I agree, I Was gifted Nocturnes Legendary skin, and its AMAZING!!!! But, Nocturne now lacks in comparison to others I could play.

The point of the spell shield, honestly it's the "weakest" part of his kit.

The reason why Nocturne was heavily picked was because of the Vision Denial vs Shen top lane.

Sure you can pick Nocturne now but his pre-level 6 gank aren't very good ever since they changed how fear works now.

Face it Noct needs a complete overhaul.

Now that you mention it, I've completely forgotten about Nocturne. I forgot how much fun he was......

I think the fact that Rek'Sai can tunnel right behind the enemy laner puts her a bit over the top. I believe it a better 1v1 duelist (people tend to forget that he can do a ton of damage). I think the reason we don't see much nocturne is just because competitive players tend to like picking Rek'Sai.

Noc has issues, he can't effectively assassinate anyone because he doesn't have any burst, and he's not an effective fighter because of his squishy stats. If anything Noc is an ineffective Rengar. He's good top against some combo bruisers but even then he can lose fights quick. He just needs some higher base stats so he can be a fighter or something changed on his kit so he can burst like an assassin. I think a good mechanic would be to either give him passive 10% damage increase on targets that are feared, this would give him more damage to assassinate a target if he gets close to fear them or if the has teammates with fear. This wouldn't make him anymore op than talon who has the same style passive but with ANY cc.

It's funny, he seems like the new Lee Sin. Rek'Sai and Zed are in almost every single high elo game / LCS. Yet they are busy nerfing Veigar, Ryze, Blitzcrank, Annie-- etc. It's funny how they get skipped over.

Well Nocturne is a pretty good diver. Rek'Sai can't directly jump on to people but Noc can.

There's one plus. And the spell shield, but I guess that's it.
