How do you think sion would do as a tanky support?
His ult, Q and E can provide some pretty legit CC, he has armor shred, he can also make use of his W's scaling if he starts relic shield (not to mention assists go well with it). His ult potentially be a kill whenever he is returning to lane (lane gank?)

That Q takes forever to charge. Certainly enough that it is easy to dodge with the mobility of ADCs. He is also pretty easy to kite, so I see him getting harassed very hard in lane.
I could see him doing decent with an adc such as cait who can set him up for a 50%+ charged Q. other than that he would probably just be abused hard pre 6
blitz and sion bot. there's a minion in the way of your grab? not anymore thanks to sion's E. grabbed, knocked up, knocked up again, gone.
I think the E will define him in support; many possibilities with it. Charged Q is for when they tunnel-vision your carry.
it depends on the sions ability to land his e i think. it provides good poke at a long range with low mana cost, but has a small hit box.
