Serious question, it honestly feels like 1/3 1/4 games is just a thrown game. Maybe I'm at the wrong elo. Maybe I'm the reason why we throw. Just curious to see if it's just me or if other people experience this dreadful curse.
Strat1 votesThrowing is symptomatic of SoloQ. It happens in every Elo, all the way up to Challenger. Just watch any challenger stream - 1/4 of the games WILL be thrown in some way. Throwing happens less when you get to higher Elo, sure, but it still happens, and often.
The main difference in higher Elo is that it's less common for the low Elo game where you see a game thrown, then counter-thrown, then counter-counter-thrown and so on to occur. In higher Elo people will usually see a throw, and run with it.
