Bot Update : Heroic Mode
How about introducing a new difficulty mode of bots. Heroic Mode. Passives:
a. Omnipotence: Bots gain full gold and xp [as if they perfectly farmed and killed every minion on their lane] when not doing anything eg running back to base to fill health and buy potions. They do not have to be present on their lane to get the full effect of this passive. Always active. Bots will never end underleveled, or outfarmed. The even get xp and gold while DEAD.
b. Combo Mode: On !!! Bots have additional cooldown reduction [past the cap], to feel "deadly" and always fight at full potency. When they successfully kill or assist a champion they refund 80% of all spell cooldown. This passive grants only 60% refund for summoner spells. Example fight: at lv 6 annie bot, flashes + ult tibbers you dealing 140% of max hp, instantly killing you. Once you respawn, she wont have flash ready, but her tibbers will still be waiting you if you come too close. [you get hit by 210% max hp dmg now, as there are 2 tibbers saying "hi"].
c. No Dumb Plays: Bots now use their skills when they are sure they will hit the enemy player. Tibbers no longer misses [and always stuns ofc].
d. Fair Fights Only: Bots automatically detect "cheat mode" fights, or situtations that shouldnt have happened. When a bot is attacked unfairely or ganked by more players [eg 2vs1], it "Evades" all damage and becomes unkillable until it reaches base and restores to full health. Example: in world of warcraft if you hit a minion, where it had no pathing, it become immune to everything. Implementation: These mini passives turn bots from "free food" to "Fair players".
Outnumbered: Bots gain 50% damage reduction [multiplicative] and 20% tenacity [additive] per additional player attacking at it [counts vs its own allies].
Running Mode: Bots gain +20% damage reduction [multiplicative] per skill on cooldown. Up to ~60% damage reduction.
No Free Poke: Nidalee presses Q, the bot is dumb to evade it. Solution: Gray Health: Bots regenerated 100% of all hp lost in the last 3 sec, if they do not successfully manage to fight back. Gray health is destroyed only if the bot successfully fights back and lands a full combo rotation on enemy champion. Fixes: Nidalee has to use W to jump to the fight, but she risks getting 1shotted. Morgana pressing Q+W, will do 0 dmg, if she doesnt come near the bot to get pounded back.
No Chain CC: Disables landed in the last 10 sec, grant 20% tenacity per CC.
Perfect Vision: Bots always have vision of the jungle, dragon, river, baron.
Fiddlestick's presence: [Applies to all bots] Bots not visible on map, may teleport to the nearest bush and initiate a gank or use smite for a free golem steal. Fixes: Enemy jungler wont be able to farm both jungles without risk in the heroic mode. Every sec is fight for life. [something may be hiding there]. Alternative implemantation: There is a "Decoy" scout bot, that randomly walks on the jungles, once it finds someone it summons the enemy jungler and fills him to full health and cooldowns to initiate a "gank". This decoy bot is a 6th player, ie bots wont lose a bot spot just for the purpose of "jungle checking". Fixes: Objectives now will provoke the enemy bots to come and start a team fight.
No Bush hiding: A player may no longer hide in bushes, all bushes in map are visible. Bots do not drop aggro once a player enters bush.
No Hackers Plox: Bots no longer reward gold to players that managed to achieve a kill ratio of more than 1 kill per 5 min of game. So in a 30 min game, the max amount of bot deaths should be ~6.
No Attritution free kills: 1vs1 lane winning against a bot should be considered an exploit and disabled. Only teamfights should allow bot kills. Solution: every 30 sec, bots will receive a potion restoring 25% of their max health.
Synopse of changes: Do not let bot's code decay or become an abandonware of "code" full of exploits that is no longer mantained. If an exploit is found vs a bot, then it should be fixed by a new tier of omega op bot buffs. Before changes: bots ended with 0-20 score. Master yi player had 80-0 score. After changes: bots end matches with a positive kill ratio. Master yi has 0-10 score and cries why his champion is unviable. The new mode shouldnt be DUMBED DOWN for the WOW CROWD. It should be hard or impossible to win a Heroic Bot match.
