Why the Matchmaking....

Why the Matchmaking thinks I need to carry 4 or 3 people in a lose streak when I start to win?

What is the logic on this? HOW ABOUT BALANCE THE TEAMS?

Haha yeah... I think the matchmaking algorithm is basically this: all players who click "play" are put into a pool and get assigned a number (randomly)... then two teams are created based on numbers (randomly)... nothing else goes into the equation (that's why Riot always says: "We cannot disclose the specifics of the matchmaking system, it's proprietary"... rofl).

strangely enough that would be less shitty than what we have now

Hmmm... that would imply some sort of "system" is at work... can you elaborate...? :))

its a pretty typical forced 50/50 system, the more you win the shittier teams you get until you start floating around 50%, this is also why you can either climb or decline elo with a win ratio of 50% depending on whether you are playing horribly at 50% or playing well.

Haha alright, I get your point... and agree, yes, no system at all would be better than this.

matchmaking doesn't exist in this game....

That isn't the logic since that isn't at all how it works.

Balance ?? wrong game. They know no balance.

System is pretty simple. You have a number, called your "MMR". This number is hidden, but before season 3 it was displayed openly as your elo. Your MMR goes up when you win, and down when you lose. Riot tries to match teams so that the average MMR on both teams is equal, while minimizing the variance in MMR in the game (e.g. 3000 MMR + 2000 MMR vs. 2 2500 MMR players is not ideal).

MMR also factors into your LP gains and losses. If your MMR is significantly higher than average for your rank (e.g. you're a silver player constantly matched with mid to high golds) you earn more lp per win and lose less for loses. Your MMR still rises and falls normally. This helps shift your rank closer to your MMR. If your rank is higher than your MMR, you gain less and lose more, until your MMR and rank are more in line.

I love it... why are you trying to defend this system? Can't you just accept the fact that you personally just got lucky with your rank, and that it doesn't mean anything?

And where do you take this information from that you keep infusing into these posts - "Riot tries to match teams so that the average MMR on both teams is equal"... "...while minimizing the variance in MMR in the game"... those are ASSUMPTIONS, nobody has every said that's what they do (they may have given some vague hint but THE SYSTEM IS A BLACK BOX - the definition of a black box is: YOU DON'T KNOW). So stop fucking pretending you do, it's annoying as hell.
