Shen Q Bug (Maybe?)

Not sure if this was in the Patch Notes somewhere that I didn't see, I only noticed this very recently. As Shen, pressing Q puts the Spirit Blade directly on top of you, and gives you the three AAs. But, if you don't move after the first Q, and you Q again, the Spirit Blade doesn't move and doesn't give you the empowered AAs. Was this an intentional change? I haven't noticed this before, especially when standing in the same spot as Shen Jungle. Any clarity would be appreciated.
